Great hotel and close to the CBD

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: Very well laid out and with staff who are very guest focused. The room was very clean and of a very high standard.
Cons: The shower over bath format could be changed to shower only.
Location: Walking distance to many great bars and restaurants.
Great weekend in Auckland for the FIFA under 20 final. Made all the more memorable with my stay at the Pullman. Fantastic room and staff, with awesome customer focused attitudes. Well done team!

Short trip

the hotel was great and location is not too far from the main tourist spots. going to the hotel is a hike though as the city is not flat. still enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

Compact and Convenient

Posted May 20, 2015 on Wotif
Pros: Convenient location
I was in Auckland for a 2 day conference being held at the Pullman so being on site made life much simpler. My room was compact to say the least but did have everything I needed and I did love the fact that the shower head was adjustable so I could raise it to a height that suited me. If you need to park your car then do make the most of the valet parking as it is much cheaper than parking yourself in the Wilsons car park next door.

Posted May 17, 2015 on Hotels
My hubby and I went to a concert and the Pullman is close enough to walk to the vectra. we had a few drinks after the concert in the bar and some nibbles. we have stayed before and we will keep using the Pullman. Tracey Tanner

Great stay

Posted May 17, 2015 on Hotels
my friend and I went to spaundau ballet and the pullman is an awesome place to stay at when you can walk to the vectra and back ! We loved that when we got back from the concert we could order a beautiful pizza and chippies with our cocktails at the bar. :) We looked forward to using the sauna and steam rooms and also the pool, we had a great time. Thanks Tracey Tanner

Decent hotel

Posted May 17, 2015 on Hotels
Locations was about 10 min walk to main street and about 20 min to docks. Service was good until the last night and check out. Bathroom could have used a little work on the grout. Rooms was comfortable but not very spacious

Expectations not met

Posted May 11, 2015 on Wotif
My wotif booking stated that I would be in a superior room with a Kingsize bed. Clearly room 210 was a double bed in a small room. Not what I expected. Very stuffy and my wife came away with a headache.

Pretty good

Posted May 11, 2015 on Wotif
Pros: Location and value were the best things for us.
Cons: Modernisation/upgrades and check-in training would be beneficial.
Location: Nice quiet location but close to everything the CBD has to offer.
We stayed here on a very busy Saturday night for a birthday celebration (result of a concert at Vector Arena). While we were served at the check-in desk pretty quickly, the whole process was exceptionally slow. The young lady behind serving us at the desk didn't appear to know the systems very well and wandered off a few times without saying anything to us. The check in process took approximately 15-20 minutes, which is much longer than we would usually expect, particularly given we have stayed here a number of times and had provided all of our information in advance of arrival. The room itself was comfortable and generally clean, however it did seem a little tired/dated and would benefit from upgrade. The noise from adjacent rooms was also an issue, especially with concert-goers arriving late, talking animatedly and banging doors in the early hours of the morning.
