Was horrible had to go to another reception at a different motel 4 check in. Room was already paid for but took a $100 bond most just take credit card details. No carpark. Expected us to park outside a room way down the motel or out by main road. Smokers in the room next door who cldnt even go outside the room to smoke so thats all we could smell. My wife had back injry. We were given a room with an access shower the handle on the wall came away when my wife tried to grab it lucky she never fell. Internet never worked

Rooms are looking tired, broken socket on wall, shower pipe leaked, wrong remote for tv so had to go to tv to operate it. Bed comfy but matress needs to be replaced. Staff friendly and helpfull

There was a hair drier without a cord somebody had cut the cord. The microwave was on a shelf with the plates and cups. I thought the self would have broken with the weight

Basic accommodation, good location
Place is extremely dated, though everything still works. Owner tries to be friendly but seems much too nosey. Big note at the bottom of stairs reminds everyone to take off shoes, though it doesn't seem carpet has been cleaned in some time. Bathroom window straight to driveway without curtains. You will get a lot of excercise here if you're on the top floor, loads of stairs. Bed is not comfortable. The good - location is very safe and easy stroll to Remuera shops. Room is a good size, area is quiet.

Absolutely terrible. I thought being in Epsom it might be at least a little bit comfortable. I was sorely mistaken. It’s cheap for a reason. Indian guy on the desk couldn’t care less, and the people that currently live (Yes, there are people living in some of the rooms) there are not exactly considerate of the others. DO NOT STAY HERE

Never again it needs to be condemned! wish i had have read reviews before booking. And please, you need to state that there is a bond to be paid upon check in instead of bombarding guests when they arrive! Its a bit rude really. The MDF vanity & door is clearly their ventilation system as its sucked up all the moisture, swollen, paint no longer there, looks awful & it smells so bad, shower door rotting, paint job half done, terrible bogging job in bathroom, not to mention the rotting skirting boards, lino is that ruined its warpped & not only was plastic plug for the sink rusty but it has what appears to be burn marks in basin! Only recommendation i can give is that you read reviews & stay elsewhere.

Safety rail on balcony completely unsafe. We were given two towels for three adults. There was a piece of rubbish on top of bed when we arrived. The reception is not able to be contacted between 10pm to 8am

Little gem of a place
The stay was pleasant. Liked the thoughtful ironing board and small appliances provided. Was near restaurants and across from a private boys school. Public transportation directly across the street. Short 12 minutes to arrive downtown at the waterfront. Uber services readily available. Would come back again

Room for improvement
We chose the hotel because of the location as we had a function to go to after arriving back in Auckland. The gentleman manning the desk should consider doing a course in customer service and personal development, or get a job that he enjoys. Other than that the room was comfortable and clean.

Room was too small to have 3 beds in. The kitchenette was a joke, totally unusable. Everything including microwave was stacked into a tiny corner. Literally ZERO room to do anything in this corner, including making a cuppa. One very small table far away from the corner, if you moved the table to the kitchenette area it would block the way to all the utensils, not to mention block access to the toilet and shower area, which was also tiny. The mattress also needed to be replaced.

Good Motel with Free Parking
Good Premium Bed and large room. Shower room is spacious. On a small note, the washbasin is to close to the w/c making it bit inconvenient to sit. Overall the room is worth for the price.
