The man at the desk was being nasty thinking that two other people were in my room when I put online that it was only two adults in my room which it was and he continued to watch 5 people get off the elevator thinking that those people were all in my room when it was me and another friend that made room reservations and I had a key for my room and she had a key for hers. He was rude and that was my last stay there.

Large room, good staff

Liked the large room. The staff was great and very helpful about what was in the area and how to get there. Bedroom was ok and liked the small living room like area, but it was dark and furniture was not all that comfortable. Bathroom needs a lot of work. While clean, it was not in good shape.

decent hotel gouges you during the Masters

Hotel was fine but rates are tripled or even quadrupled during the Masters, rip off for that class of hotel.

For $350 a night filthy kitchen...

For $350 a night filthy kitchen.dirty pots with FOOD in them under the sink..Light bulbs missing, You had to open the refrigerator door to get in the bedroom. wish IO was kidding..one remote for two tvs...could go on and on... Third day they forgot to make up room..no apologies .said sorry cleaning crew went home. O my GOD

We realize that the hotel rate reflected the fact that this stay was during the Masters Golf Tournament but the place was in need of a major overall updating !It was in a good location in terms of getting to the Masters but otherwise would not stay there .

Bleh...

Hawthorn is not my normal choice of hotel brand, but we were there for the Masters so everything was outrageously priced and sold out. I was okay with paying 500% more than their average rate until I walked into the hotel. Staff clearly hated working there, the vending machines were empty, pool was closed (apparently it was cold there 2 days prior, but 80 today), breakfast was microwaved eggs, full kitchen didn’t have any utensils, plates, etc. the room was decently clean but so outdated and run down that it looked and felt dirty.

Worst and Terrible Hotel and Staff

My only request is not to book and stay at this hotel. Its a worst hotel and staff. The person at reception does not know how to talk with the guest. They do not respect men or woman. Avoid this cheap hotel with no value. If you do not want to get insulted then kick this hotel out of your list at any cost. At any time the staff can ask you to leave the hotel. Worst stay in a hotel in my entire life.

You Get What You Pay For

Large rooms, high ceilings with kitchenette (no dishes, pans, or silverware, small microwave-not fully functional), full size refrig, sink, large seperate room with sleeper sofa, & large BR with king size bed. Some cracked pcs. of floor tile in bathroom & kitchenette. Bed mattress too soft, pillows uncomfortable. Overhead BR light 2 of 3 bulbs blown. 1 BR lamp shade coming apart at seam, other lamp shade balancing on top of lightbulb frame, without a screw. BR curtain design does not allow closing over sheer center curtains. AC worked great. Not very soundproof. Could hear footsteps from 2nd story above BR. Key card entry did not work every time card was inserted, during the learning curve.

Will stay here every time I come to Augusta!

Never any complaints the early check in fee was a bit frustrating but everything else great. Receptionist is always very nice!
