Looking for new home in town

I am here because I am looking for a new home in town. the hotel staff was really pleasant. I just had one problem. My TV just don't work correct. It goes off by itself and that's nerve wrecking. Like Casper the ghost turned the TV off.

Pros: Pet friendly and clean rooms
Cons: Double check maid staff and ensure all rooms are cleaned and provide more than one person to help with guests and their needs
Location: We stayed there for horse functions at the Hippodrome and its close and pet friendly
It was clean and comfortable. We had issues with not TV and the remote not working so NO TV the entire time we were there.. Maid service missed us all together and we were not given any clean towels and the night staff stated we would have to walk to the front to get them. we were ready for bed so we went to sleep instead and used dirty towels we used the day before. When we checked out another gentleman was there and he gave us one night refund for the experience we had. He apologized and after that was done and he was so apologetic about it that we will stay there again. Customer service was great when we checked out and he made all the bad not so bad.

Could have been worse, could have been better...

Arrived late, after three successive "non-smoking" rooms in a competing, budget hotel proved to reek of cigarettes. The Quality Inn charged was more expensive, but offered actual non-smoking rooms. The building and surrounding neighborhood need repair, the other occupants we witnessed behaved strangely, and the room was incompletely cleaned: every corner and crevice was filled with food crumbs, dirt, and miscellaneous trash. The hotel is overpriced by at least 25%, given cleanliness of the room and perception of safety afforded.

Terrible. It was midnight when I went to my room and the door was propped open in the dark by the bolt latch. . Did not enter.. got a new room and it was disgusting ..one word. . bugs. I was only stayin for 5 hours so tried the cheap route... never again even if it's 5 Seconds.
