Room/suite was acceptable for a one night stay. Found ants in the bathroom.

Sort of old, un-renovated, dark rooms, old bathrooms.

Quality Inn...More Like Quality OutPosted Jun 22, 2015 on Hotels
I checked in through a glass window like you'd see at some inner city gas station. Once I got into the room, I saw that the toilet handle was on the bathroom floor, the toilet was running continuously, the bathtub drain was broken and had been placed on the side of the tub and there were hairs on the floor in the corners of the bathroom. It was late and I was too tired to complain, so I locked and barred the door and tried to sleep. Morning came, but the wake up call I requested at check in did not. All in all, this place is a great hideout for crack addicts and traveling cowboys, railroad workers and serial killers, but don;t think about bringing your family.

Business Stay, April 2015Posted Apr 22, 2015 on Hotels
I was surprised to find a set of burners as well as a full size 'fridge and a microwave and coffeemaker. Lacking the oven makes this a place you can't roast a turkey, but sauteed zucchini would be a breeze...IF it were stocked with equipment. I looked, found empty cupboards. I asked and was told "it is a bring your own set up" so I was disappointed in that. I believe a set of household goods could be furnished for those who stay a week or longer. Since I was there just the one night, it was not primary, but could influence my return if a longer period of stay is involved. Otherwise it was quite nice. The breakfast buffet was great and the coffee good. The location is in a great access area. The units are away from the main road, so the interiors were very quiet and peaceful. I would recommend the place to business as well as family travelers. I did not use the pool, but it looked inviting also. The staff was friendly and helpful with directions.

You get what you pay forPosted Oct 30, 2014 on Hotels
We stayed here for the Augusta 70.3 Ironman, originally I picked this hotel for the kitchen and location. FYI there is nothing in the kitchen, no dishes etc... the room was for the most part clean, but very outdated. We had a non smoking room, but everyone was smoking near the entrance so we might as well had a smoking room. Will probably never stay here again, but the price was right at the time.

Not happy with this Quality Inn!Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: The breakfast was good.
Cons: Update the rooms, clean the rooms and upholstery and carpet. Put a true picture on Expedia that represents what you actually get!
Location: We were there only to spend the night and hit the road early the next morning - destination Virginia.
This is a very old motel that has not been updated. It looks NOTHING like the picture on Expedia. There was very little room on each side of the bed. The furniture was sticky dirty. There were stains on the upholstered furniture. My non-smoking room smelled like a smoker had stayed there. I will NEVER stay there again. The breakfast was great with some of the best grits I have ever eaten - one good thing!

Not as clean and old... overpriced for conditionPosted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: The pool and the breakfast
Cons: renovation of rooms. Make them cleaner and fresher
Location: close to everything I needed to be around
Overpriced hotel for the condition it was in. My room felt dirty. The nightstand had something sticky on it. Sheets were somewhat stained. The breakfast was very good for a Quality Inn. I think I paid too much as I could have stayed across the street at a Super 8 (which would have been better quality) and saved about $50 over 2 nights. The pool was a great amenity to this old, renovating needing, hotel.

Better than where initially bookedPosted Apr 9, 2014 on Hotels
Was moved to this hotel because my initial booking through Hotels.com was unacceptable. This was a better room in a less convenient location but the room was not vacuumed during my week long stay. The outside was dirty but being cleaned in preparation for the Masters. It is a shame that it takes an annual event that raises the price of the room 3.5 times the normal rate to have what should be considered routine cleaning and maintenance to be performed. I am going back next week and will not book there.

quick overnight tripPosted Apr 8, 2014 on Hotels
I traveled with a basketball team - the rooms were much bigger than I thought . Had full size refrigerator, microwave and sink area and a counter to sit at. The breakfast was great - I was very impressed.
