Nice hotel to stay

Posted Jan 15, 2015
It was really comfortable and all the staff were really friendly. I have already recommended this hotel :) It was a little bit far from the city center, but it was close to several bus stops.

Nice hotel

This is a nice hotel, clean and people are nice. Breakfast is good. The room was a bit too small and the location is just not for everyone. It's a bus ride to go downtown of around 40 minutes, but you get to stay in an area that is not as busy and tourist packed.

Nice hotel, not for everyone

Posted Sep 13, 2014 on Hotels
The hotel was nice, clean and the people working there are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good too with more variety than usual for this range. The downside of the hotel for us were basically three things. The room was very small, and I say that for european small standards. I think it may have been our room, since even the door looked narrow in comparison with others on the same floor. The second thing was the mattress which was not comfortable, but that may be this only one room. And the third one is the location. It's for some people, not for everyone. It's a 20/25 minute bus ride to the Vatican and 40/45 minutes to the main sights in Rome. It's nice to be in a residential neighborhood though, you get to see a different perspective and enjoy the locals a bit more but you may not always feel like taking the bus, specially if you want to go back to your hotel to get changed or shower or drop off all the stuff you may have bought during the day. Navigating the bus is very easy and locals will help you figure out where to get off. Another good thing about the hotel was the water pressure, nice hot water for a nice shower. I'm not sure I would stay again if I had only 2 or 3 days in Rome since by the end you feel you spent some time in the bus that you could have not but price is good, it's clean and has good breakfast. Another nice thing is it has outdoor sitting so you can have an evening outdoors instead of being locked in a small hotel room.

close to the city centre, quiet area, lots of nice cafes nearby, 24/7 reception, but coffee during breakfast was horrible. apart from it - nice place. would stay there again

Great budget hotel

Posted Jul 18, 2014 on Hotels
If you are looking to save a few bucks and still have a clean, family run typevatmosphere then look no further. Staff were very helpful and kind. Breakfeast was decent and the rooms were in good condition. Great surrounding neighborhood with mostly families and an excellent gelato store right around the corner. Several great pizzerias around and many inexpensive vendors as well. Plan on a solid 30-45 min to get to center city on the H or 98 bus. Take the 98 just across the river and you're in walking distance of navona, fiori, pantheon, and piazza venezia further down or the H will take you straight to termini. Recommend this hotel for travelers who are budget conscious and don't mind a little extra travel but well worth it

Small shower. But staff was friendly and hard working. Very close to a bus stop, but kinda out of the city. Would stay again.

A little out of the way but excellent value

Overall the hotel is good with very friendly service. In the rooms they have dim lighting and the coffee served at breakfast can be better.

Great value for the money

Posted Apr 25, 2013
Great B&B for the money. Far from tourist attractions. Advertisements say it's within walking distance of the Vatican, but only if you are willing to spend an hour to an hour and a half. However, it is close to bus stops (if you can figure out which ones they are). The breakfast was marginal, but the housekeeping was excellent. The shower leaked, so the bathroom floor was frequently wet, but the beds were comfortable and the staff friendly.

Nice place to stay in Rome, clean and affordable

Posted Nov 7, 2012
Pros: Cleaness
Cons: The atic at stay....
Location: Bus stop near...
The price good. You could get any important historic place in no more than 20 minutes. The neighborhood is good, and the amenities are ok. It is very clean. The manager don't laugh too much, not be surprised, people in Rome is always serious.... :(
