Nice hotel, close to the airport. Room was warm despite thermostat set at 68 but good for overnight stay before flying out of AUS

Decent

Posted Jan 14, 2018
Pros: Easy access to 71. Pillows are comfy. Water is hot. Quiet, not a whole lot of noise, even on the first floor.
Location: Adjacent to a shady looking liquor store and barber shop, but separated by a divider fence. Just make sure to lock up your vehicles at night.
About what you would expect from a hotel in this price point. The staff members were nice and polite. Hotel comes with a small gym and serves breakfast at 6. For those leaving before 6, they've got a few snacks and some coffee for ya. The only thing not up to par was the broken/non-functioning bathroom vent above my toilet and shower. Everything else was fine. Good place to lay down for the night.

Hedge against Freezing Weather Driving

Posted Jan 2, 2018
Pros: Close to Austin Airport.
Cons: Better directions to the motel.
Location: Too cold to go anywhere that night.
The heater and fan were loud and difficult to adjust. The shower had nice, no-slip footing. The elevator paint job looked slopped on. Breakfast choices: average. Real eggs, not fake, powdered kind. Need more "Whole Grain" choices.r

The first room that was given to me hadn't been cleaned yet. The hotel staff was so accommodating and apologetic. They kindly upgraded my son and I to a large suite to make up for the mishap. I am grateful that there are still kind people amd businesses in the world.

Stay away

Posted Dec 9, 2017
They are remodeling the lobby and so there was paint sheets everywhere. The elevators are dated and look terrible, there is paint stains on the carpets on floor 2, and dirt smeared in the walls in the hallway. Inside the room the heater was broken and the bed was really uncomfortable. Very bad experience and will never stay there again

Not worth what I paid

Posted Dec 4, 2017
For the price I paid, I should have stayed at a Motel 6. I was hoping for a slightly better upgrade from staying at a typical motel, but I was disappointed.

Don’t book this hotel

Posted Nov 19, 2017
Driving up to the hotel there was poor lighting and terrible landscaping. Check in was met with several housekeepers signing out at the desk while I was trying to get to the front desk. An open J-box with electrical cords hanging out welcomes me above the elevator. And the elevator was whitewashed poorly with black and gold paint. My 3rd floor had been recently renovated. It would be hard to know because the carpet was uneven, old lamp shades, leftover artwork from the 70’s, torn shower curtain, toilet continually flushed on its own, TV remote was encrusted with food and dusty, and this was just the room. In the morning I visited the breakfast room that was dimly lit with furniture leftover from the 70’s, but most of the buffet was edible with the exception of the greasy sausage and mushy apples. The single breakfast attendant doubled as the shuttle driver and each morning was called away leaving customers to fend for their own breakfast. She left with all the scrambled eggs gone and the next day no coffee was available. One of the housekeeper decided she could make a waffle, yogurt, and juice while patrons were helping themselves. Clearly there’s a disconnect with management and employees pattern of interfering with customer’s space. I would not recommend this hotel. The only redeeming thing was good soft water pressure, comfortable bed, and timely housekeeping.
