Expedia Overbooked, Hotel made no accommodations

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Try not to gouge people when they've been screwed by one of your biggest partners
Showed up at the hotel, was told no confirmed reservations from Expedia. They offered to make two single rooms available at double the price two doubles had been booked on Expedia. Expedia experience trying to rebook was a disaster. They were unable to offer anything except at 2-3 times the price, failing to own their mistake. It's been over a week, and refund hasn't processed yet.

Hotel overbooked it

When I get there very late at night I was told they overbook the hotel and I didn't have a reservation with them. I end up sleeping in my car

Clarion not nice

First room lock / card did not work. Desk tried to solve it but did not work. Carpet in halls were duct taped together. Inside pool water was green and not circulating. Second room had dead roaches on the floor, small ants on the bathroom counters & walls. Nasty. The hotel was hard to get too and the area a little dicey. Room was overpriced for this location.

The front desk person was sloppy in dress and on the phone. The telephones in the room did not work and I had to call the front desk person with my cellphone for her to tell me. There were also bugs in my bathroom. The carpet was torn, especially on the edges.
