Poor service.

There are no restaurants near this hotel. The hotel restaurant has limited hours and menu. The service is very poor. I should have known when the restaurant was empty. I asked if it was open and the staff said yes then returned to paperwork. I sat for 30 minutes before I went to the manager to see if they were actually open. He said yes. They were apparently open but no service! Paperwork was more important. I was sitting right in front of these staff members! The only person in the whole place!!

I was very sorry to learn of the disappointing service you experienced during your stay. Our Bistro serves breakfast from 6 AM to 10 AM Monday-Friday, and 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM Saturday and Sunday. Thank you for bringing these service issues to our attention. We will follow up with the appropriate members of our team. I am confident this was an isolated issue that you will not experience on your next visit!

GREAT location to Austin airport!!

Cons: Not much should be changed.

Staff was very helpful with suggestions about eating out. Also very helpful about assisting with Boarding pass print-out!

Careful when reserving

Did not honor my reservations even though I called a day earlier to verify. Was told a storm flodded my room the day before. Front desk sent me and my family around town at 3am to look for a room. Had to yell and scream for a solution, till they finally came up with one. Ended up at Austin Marriott South, which was awesome, at 4 AM.

Last minute choic

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Fix the toilet and shower when asked. The response of " you have to contact Expedia" was unacceptable. Are they going to send someone to my room?
Location: Nothing around. Only thing close is a boarded up hotel and a Waffel House
After a late arriving flight and getting to the hotel at 1:00am, we found a note letting us know they would be right back. 15 minutes later and 2 phones calls trying to find someone to hell us, we did finally get a room. The room was right across from the elevator, and every time it went by we got to hear it. After a few minutes in the room we find the toilet does not flush/ drain correctly, and in the morning find out the tub does not drain correctly either. Informed the front desk about the issue and were told we needed to contact Expedia? I did not realize Expedia was in charge of maintenance for the property. When we looked outside in the daylight, we realized there was nothing around us but a Waffel House and another hotel, which was boarded up and rundown. At this point we decided to check out and move hotels and were told by the hotel we could check out as we had a three might stay and could not change or cancel. I was not aware of this when I booked, but when I went back to check my confirmation it did state this, but only after I had confirmed it. This experience was upsetting enough we checked out anyway. No more Courtyard or Mariott properties of us. We will stick with Hyatt or Hilton from now on. No more Expedia either.

Hotel location to where we needed to go the next morning was excellent. Restaraunt locations were in walking distance.

awful noisy

Car was broken into in the parking lot. No possibility for sleep as the room next door partied until 4 am. Hotel management was not able to remedy the situation, only offered me a free breakfast. Awful

Pleasantly surprised...

My brother is a platinum elite member for Marriott/Starwood hotels. When he saw our room he was impressed by the layout and comfort. He particularly pointed out the mini-fridge, coffee maker, and furnishings. That says a lot considering he says with various Marriott locations all around the world.
