Didn’t know parking was not included. Had to pay $50 per vehicle to park in a parking garage with broken elevators. Only two towels in the room that sleeps six. No additional bedding for the pull out couch.

The staff was all super friendly unfortunately they sold out of the room we booked and was given an ada room which if it werent for me having 2 toddlers wouldnt have been an issue but the deadbolt was falling off the wall and one of the door stops was broken and my son instantly picked it up and I noticed jagged metal edges which if my son grabbed any differently might have cut him. The bathroom also had mold on the shower seat and could use some caulk. Needless to say I expected better for the price. Also out of the 3 elevators that went up only 1 was reliable, 1 was only working to our floor part of the time and the middle one didnt go to our floor all 3 where called by the same button...

indoor pool was too cold. couldnt swim with kids. There was no cover and blanket for sofa bed. we had to call to front and go back and forth to get them.

This hotel charges 48$/night to use the parking garage next door. You can only park on the 3rd or 4th floor but then 3 out of the four elevators weren’t working. Very inconvenient. The rooms are also older, not the newest or best condition anymore. Tiny fridge and microwave in the suite. No view from the window (unless you count looking at the parking garage). We were on the 5th floor. There was a broken glass outside of our room from the time we checked in and it was still there when we checked out. I would have expected more for 400$/night. The only good thing I can say is that the Breakfast was very good. Very good selection, lots to choose from, very tasty food, even a setup to have an omelette made to order.

Friendly staff. Location was convenient. Excellent breakfast. Didn’t have time for evening reception / happy hour. Unfortunately, the room was quite dated. Lampshades were discolored and baseboard coming apart in room. Toilet made extremely loud noises when flushing. Heater wasn’t working. Needed to request extra blankets. Difficult to get hot water for showering.

Terrible food service. Menu and hours were limited, and, although we had made reservations in October, we were not told about the limited room service until check in. I have been staying at this hotel since the early 90’s, and can clearly say it has significantly declined in quality. This may have been our last stay.

The condition of the bathroom was terrible. I took pictures of paint drips and paint all over the handles of the door. Also we were charged 45.00 dollars with tax to park in a dirty parking garage and both elevators were not working!

The room was hot at night and I could not adjust the thermostat, it was like defaulted to turn off at night. In the morning like at 6 am, it was on again and at the original temperature as when we checked in. Also, the parking garage elevator was out of order, so we had to go down and up three floors.

This embassy is a little older. My room smelled humid. The housekeeper never cleaned our room, had to ask at the front desk for clean towels. The parking is expensive and it’s not safe. There’s no one to watch your car. Other embassy’s offer drinking water. This one doesn’t.

Great breakfast & Comfort
This is my 2nd stay here, I like how it’s convenient close to downtown and the popular Congress attractions. The room is very spacious and I like how the living room is separated from the room so you can close the door for privacy. The give vouches for free drinks during happy hour and have great breakfast! The parking garage is safe but they do charge 42$ , or you can also park along the street and pay the parking fees. The valet guy is so nice and helpful with taking down luggage or unloading. No complaints! I also enjoy that they have those electric scooters that you can grab and take it to where you need to go anywhere downtown,only paid 7$ and that beats walking.

The hotel needs update, the room had a weird smell, maybe the vent system; the breakfast was basic, they only cook with butter, they couldn't accommodate a dairy free allergy. Consider the parking fee $42 per night, the parking location it looks not safe at night. On the flip side the staff was very friendly.

Room was clean, but furniture in living area was outdated and worn. One chair was peeling on the back corners. Major issues with parking! Garage across street is $42/day. The elevator was broken and lighting at the elevators was nonexistent! Parking for the hotel is located on floors 3,4, or 5 with no working elevator?! Talk about an accident waiting to happen...

We stay here every time we visit out college student. This time front desk help was horrible. Asked twice for sheets/blanket for couch bed and no response even though yes they’re ccoming. Their coming. Many choices in Austin I guess I will look elsewhere next visit

I loved the living rooms that close off from the the bedroom. They have an excellent evening reception included with drinks at the bar and a variety of snacks. The morning breakfast is also impressive with an omelet.

Very open and clean atmosphere. Awesome breakfast and happy house. Staff was extremely friendly. Restaurant food looked good, but didn't have. Highly recommend.
