It certainly wasn't boring

Our first room had a leaking shower and water all over the bathroom floor. We were given a key to another room. We unlocked the door and found someone asleep in the bed. Our third and final room was old, drab and in poor condition (but it was vacant and operational)

If roaches don't "bug" you, then stay here!

Location: Picked this due to location.
I requested/reserved a Non-smoking room- the room was the opposite. At first glance, it seemed okay enough; however, when the roaches started coming out, it was obvious this place was substandard. I admit I tried to save a little money by staying here, but the bed was rock hard, the smell was horrible and the bugs were too much! Management needs to wake up!

Not the cleanest nor well maintained.

Pros: The staff was friendly and courteous. Which is pretty much the high point of my stay at this hotel.
Cons: The motel is very dated and in many respects in disrepair.
Location: There are many decent restaurants nearby and its minutes away from the capital and downtown and all that it entails.

We strive to provide our guests with all the comforts of home, so I am very disappointed to hear that we did not provide that comfort to you. I am in the process of hiring a new maintenance person so that we can address our repairs that are needed on the property. It does please me that our staff was able to provide you with great customer service, as we strive to make sure our guests are accommodated. We are continually working to improve our hotel, so I really appreciate you providing us with your feedback. This hotel experience ruined my visit

Pros: Nothing at all, I would not stay here again nor recommend it anyone staying here The breakfast was coffe and granola bars only Towels were stained I chose this hotel so I could bring my dogs, but I didn't even want my dogs to lay on the floor!
Cons: The room was dirty with stained carpet, pills/trash/food on the floor, red nail polish everywhere, trash piles outside, smoke detectors covered with plastic, and then we were woken up at 6 am by sirens from police and an ambulance in the parking lot.

Cheaper is not always better

Location: Places to eat near by. Shopping centers are a few miles away. UT @ Austin in NOT close by.
I booked this room due to the affordability of price per night. Upon arrival I had to wait 10 min in the lobby. The host was elsewhere helping out a guest. He was great with checking me in. When I walked into my room their was a foul oder. I noticed the carpet had liquid stains. While walking to the kitchenette I saw pillbugs on the floor. I also noticed cigarette ashes on the bottom of a pillow/bed. I requested a new room, they had no problem giving me a new clean room.

Location: Kind of off the beaten path, but not too far from good eating places, and entertainment venues.
Room was clean, had a couple frayed spots in carpet, handle on commode was off.

Check your room!

Pros: Hotel is close to many attractions around Austin. Quiet part of town. Agent did try to make me happy
Cons: The rooms are very small. When I arrived at the hotel, it was after the lobby was closed. I had to call the front seat, but the phone rang and rand no answer. I called again a few minutes later, and the attendant answered. It took him several minutes to come to the front from the back to let me in. While checking me in, he mentioned my reservation was cancelled, but quickly resolved this issue. When I got to my room there were no towels, so I called the front desk. The agent Brought them. While waiting for him I began noticing tons of flies and other flying bugs on the bed and lights. I honestly don't know what prompted me to buy RAID, but I was glad I listened to that voice. I began spraying the flies on the bed, but the kept coming. When the agent brought the towels, I inquired about all the bugs. He looked at the bugs, and said, "They're not bed bugs", and was off. Feeling very hesitant I checked the bed...OMG, THERE WERE SO MANY STAINS ON THE SHEETS! It was obvious, this room hadn't been cleaned. I pulled the sheet back and the bedbug liner was saturated with brown stains. I immediately pulled out my camera, a went to the front desk again. I showed the agent the pictures of the room, and he was in shock he seemed. He asked me to text him the picks to show his manager. I gave him my number, but he never texted for the pics. the agent did call me after reassigning me a new room to ensure the new was cleaned to my satisfaction. it was just ok.

The hotel staff was great!

Location: The location was simple. I live in Austin. I was a bit confused as I thought this location was closest to the arboretum since there is another there.
The hotel room that I was in needs a patch of new carpeting; that or a cleaning. Otherwise, fine.

This hotel is nice with quiet neighborhood and very clean room. One can sleep comfortably
