Thanksgiving week 2016

Posted Nov 30, 2016
Pros: The hotel is in a great location! Just a short distance from Town Lake. There is no charge for parking, another plus. Frig and stove were great too
Cons: Someone should clean the rooms before they are offered for use.
Location:
The disappointing part was walking into the room with an awful odor. The prior guest had left beans in the microwave. Even after opening the window to air out the room, the smell lingered and required us to purchase air fresheners.

Thank you for your stay and for the candid feedback. We are happy that you liked our convenient location, parking facility and the fully equipped kitchen in your room. However, we apologize that upon arrival to your suite, there were housekeeping issues. Our goal is to provide clean, comfortable and well-maintained suites for our guests, and we obviously fell short in this case. We hope you will give us another opportunity to show you a great stay, so please come back the next time you are in the area. Sincerely, General Manager

Meh

Posted Nov 21, 2016
Pros: Location, pets allowed
Cons: Room cleanliness, staff friendliness
The location of the hotel was great. However, the person manning the front desk at check in and the evening we stayed was not particularly friendly or helpful. The room itself was very dated. There were little holes in the walls and stains on the carpet. The fridge or something near the fridge kept making a strange sound. Our TV didn't work and when we went to tell the front desk on a few occasions, we could not find anyone. The only plus for us besides the location was that our dog could stay with us for a very reasonable fee. The room did its job, but it wasn't a particularly fantastic place to stay.

Okay hotel that is about 15' minutes walk from DT

Posted Nov 16, 2016
The hotel is outdated, smells and the carpet was dirty. My room was on the third floor so they didn't clean my room daily. If I needed new towels, I had to bring my old towels down to the receptionist to exchange for new towels. If I knew of this, I wouldn't have booked this hotel. The bed was uncomfortable as it was lack of thick blankets and the mattress is small and hard for a suite. It was expensive yet, they hotel and rooms were subpar.

Average hotel, but affordable

Posted Nov 16, 2016
Pros: Convenience to nearby restaurants and congress street and downtown.
Cons: The 1st floor restroom, near the lobby was disgustingly dirty all 3 days we were there.

Basic amenities were not in place. I had to request a shower curtain for the room.

Please accept my apologies for your suite not being guest ready upon arrival. It seems our housekeeping staff did not complete their tasks prior to informing the front desk the suite was available for arriving guests. It is unfortunate this error overshadowed your otherwise great stay with us. Thank you for letting us know, and hopefully you will be back soon as our guest. General Manager

Not what I expected.

Posted Nov 9, 2016
Pros: The location
Cons: See above comments
Location: The bat bridge is a couple of blocks away. The hotel is conveniently located near downtown.
There are no daily housekeeping services. I was not aware of this. Also, the WiFi is horrible. I attempted to call the 24 hour Internet help desk, and there was no answer, ever. I tried multiple days and times. The hall felt like a sauna. Our room was comfortable and clean overall. I had a coffee pot, sugar, cups, stirrers, but no coffee?! Maybe this is what an extended stay typically does. I booked the room for its location and that worked out well. However, the night before, I stayed at a cheaper, Lower quality hotel and enjoyed my stay more than here. I would not stay at an extended stay and train.

Cons: the "breakfast included" is a joke; all they offer is coffee, granola bars and plastic wrapped muffins if you go early enough.
Location: close to SOCO and downtown areas
this is not a 3.5 star hotel. looks nice enough from the outside but is a bit run down on the inside. hallways smelled bad and the walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbors which is not a good thing if they are loud in the middle of the night like mine were.

Great place to stay

Posted Nov 1, 2016
Pros: Hotel was clean & comfortable. Staff was accommodating. Walking distance to Zilker park & The Long Center where we had an event. Close proximity to several restaurants & food trucks.
Cons: No ice machine. That's my only complaint. Make sure you buy a bag to stick in the room's fridge or fill the ice trays as soon as you get there.
Location: Zilker park & long center within walking distance threadgills is right around the corner. Food trucks all up 1st street & a short drive to 6th st
