Decent

Pros: Location
Cons: The rooms were dirty and not cleaned when we stepped out of our room.
Location: Many things to do nearby, liked the location.
The hotel was okay, nothing to brag about. We booked a non smoking room and once we walked into the room you could smell the smoke immediately, it was very unappealing. The only staff we saw was at check in, then there was never anyone at the front desk and when we called the front it was always busy signal.

Not good for short stay

Given the price for the room was higher than comparable hotels, but didn't have amenities such as daily housekeeping or a hot breakfast, I would only recommend this hotel for a long stay at a good discount rate.

Stay elsewhere if you want to sleep

Pros: 1) location 2) free parking Cons: 1) Extremely loud, generators are very loud and shakes your bed 2) smell 3) drunk people partying in hallways with loud music I stayed here for one night and didn't get any sleep. Very difficult with the loud generators.

Good location if you have low expectations

Great location and near all the hot spots but the room was dirty. The room had a sour-mothball smell that was horrific. The floors were sticky and carpet was dirty. The bed linens had not been changed from previous occupant. Some of the staff were nice but one had bad attitude qhen we asked for coffee cups that Friday morning. Yikes!

Austin downtown convenience

Pros: Check in procedures were easy and was located close to downtown and convention center. Offered free light breakfast items and coffee in the morning.
Cons: Trash can was not emptied upon check in, and vacuuming/room cleanliness were less than spectacular.
Location: Within easy walking distance of downtown Austin attractions and restaurants.
Hotel was as expected, but hotel staff were variably friendly and accommodating, or diffident. Sometimes, front desk staff could have been more helpful, and appeared less resourceful in helping guests resolve their reservation problems. Occasionally, there was no one readily available at the desk. Cost was reasonable compared to other hotels in the immediate area.

Good option

I booked on Expedia before I read some pretty tough reviews. I will say that I had a pleasant stay. My room was clean. Hotel was modern. Location was fantastic and the price is m less than better more expensive places near by.

Hotel staff couldn't be bothered

The hotel staff was very young (late teens?) and seemed focused on talking and gossiping among themselves. Couldn't be bothered to help me with my check in questions and needs. Dog hairs in - yes, in - my bed covers. Do yoirself a favor and spend the extra couple of dollars somewhere else.

They didn't have our room ready when we arrived, and it looked like other people rooms was ready as well. We all was crowded in the lobby, but they did try and rush to get it taken care of.
