Quiet and very clean

Posted Jan 16, 2016
I needed somewhere to simply sleep and shower, and this place fit the bill. Inexpensive, quiet and very clean. I was hesitant to book at first because it's so inexpensive. The inn is old, yes. But the room itself was super clean. Great value if all you need is somewhere to crash and shower!

You WILL regret staying here.

Pros: above
Cons: Tear it down and start over. Stayed at another motel on same trip, for lower cost, and it was 10x better in every way.
Location: Location is good for working tasks. Advance auto, Tractor Supply, Home Depot nearby. We're working men; ordinarily not picky
Starts with the gal at the desk- rude and abrupt. Told me at least three times that they have nothing to do with the Expedia booking. Thought I had reserved two beds. She insisted I get only the one bed unless paid $10 extra, (Was a working trip- two guys). Additionally, hallways and room stank/bad odors. Literally roaches running around in our room. No microwave, no refrigerator, poor lighting (perhaps so you wouldn't notice the dirt}. Shower was hot and good pressure, bed was comfortable. Could have been worse, I suppose; could have been bedbugs instead of roaches. Don't know how you spray for one without the other- fully expected bedbug bites by morning- Place was a real stomach-turner. If you make the mistake of booking here with wife or girlfriend, you will hear about it for years to come.

Not bad for the price

Posted Nov 5, 2015 on Hotels
The room was mostly clean, the shower was clean and bathroom was kept nicely. The bed was comfortable. A/C worked and room was quiet. The staff was nice as well. Breakfast was lacking, cereal bars and dry cereal was all there was to offer. We still got breakfast and this room for cheaper than the other places in town and the room here was more clean that the hotel next door.

This is a 50's facility and needs a complete update. Linens were muslin sheets (rough), carpet could use a good shampooing. Amenities were minimal. The bathroom needs a complete renovation.

Overnight stop on way home

Posted Oct 20, 2015 on Hotels
Older hotel in need of renovation. (paint on walls peeling, water dripping from sink, carpet worn) Bed slept good. When turned off light at door TV shut off! Breakfast was a joke. But we got what we paid for.

Do NOT Stay here

Posted Oct 12, 2015
This hotel is nothing like it is in the pictures. It's dingy, dirty, and frankly felt unsafe. We were actually warned by local law enforcement that it was not a good place to stay. Do yourself a favor and go up the road to the Hampton. It was a truly awful experience.

Good nights stay in Georgetown

Our short stay was for the purpose of readying for a family wedding in the area. PERFECT... location, room, and price. Would stay again when we had time to enjoy the patio and pool area.
