Great place to stay in Austin!

Very friendly staff, quick check in, nice rooms. We stayed there to be in walking distance of 6th street and it worked out perfect. Walking distance to many things we enjoyed around the area! We enjoyed the breakfast buffet on the 18th floor. Would definitely stay there again!

Pros: location
Cons: nothing-perfect.
Location: walk out the door and your on 6th street.
one of the best hotels I've stayed in.location couldn't be better.staff very friendly and helpful.

Very nice and friendly hotel.

Pros: Very friendly & helpful staff, both at the desk and valet. I like the flavoured waters available in the lobby.
Location: Sometimes hard to get a cab, but if you walk two blocks to Hilton, there are always cabs there. Otherwise fairly close to downtown.
This was my first time in Austin and was looking for a central location.

Worst stay ever

I valet parked my new truck and they wrecked it! I have to pay for damages my self and they say they will reimburse me.

Very convenient access to 6th Street, would definitely stay next time we're in Austin.

NICE BUT WATCH PARKING FEES

good hotel and good value, BUT watch out for the overnight parking fee of $35 including tax

The hotel was great. No concerns there. The homeless population of the downtown Austin area was troubling. Sirens often to deal with homeless persons who had a shelter within a few blocks of the hotel. Emergency persons dealing with two unconscious homeless guys as we drove by. That occurred within a couple of blocks of the hotel. We filled up our vehicle at a station just a couple of blocks from the hotel. A homeless guy was panhandling, and when I and the guy fueling in front of me did not give him money, he cursed us. We will not stay in this hotel again unless the situation forces us to. The homeless population in downtown Austin is worse than I have ever seen it.
