The facility is showing its age. The room was comfortable, but...
There is a balcony, how quaint. There may have been more scenic vistas when this was built, but the balcony serves no purpose now, except to stick your head out to check on your truck. It was especially blustery when I was there. The wind whipping around the corner had the glass sliding door howling like a haunted house. Next big remodel, I suggest pushing the room out to make it larger, utilizing the balcony for more practical space.
And in this day of complimentary breakfast with the obligatory Texas shaped waffles, what's up with the fifteen buck Green Eggs & Ham. It was all very good, but it ain't the Sunday brunch at the Galvez.
