Good no frills motel.

Posted Jul 18, 2016
Pros: Inside the rooms was clean and pleasant.
Cons: The outside needed a serious power washing, and the ceiling had a major crack in it, but it didn't seem to be a problem for us.
Location: Somewhat difficult to get to from I35, easier from 290. Good restaurants nearby (Pappasito's for Mexican, Pappadeaux's for Cajun, and Denny's)
If you are looking to spend as little as possible, only using the motel as a base for sleeping and showering it is great. The room was clean and no previous smoker smell (you know how you can always tell when they try mask the smell with perfume). If your looking for a place to hang out a lot, this is not your motel. It fit my family's needs perfectly as a little used headquarters. The one thing they could have improved upon was the continental breakfast. A few hot items would have been nice. We chose to go to Denny's. We spent the money saved on the motel on activities and really good food - Pappasito's for Mexican, Pappadeaux's for Cajun, Red lobster, and Black's BBQ in Lockhart. We went to Black's on our way home, but it would have been worth it to us to drive 60 minutes to Black's, and 60 minutes back. Just don't get dressed up for Black's. You'll be out of place. Expect a line inside and outside.

Not so bad.

The hotel looks so raunchy on the outside but the room we got was really nice and clean. Even the carpet was shampooed.

Average hotel; close to where we needed to be.

Posted Jun 23, 2016
Pros: Hotel staff did fill my special request of rooms needed to be next to each other.
Cons: Rooms could be cleaned at an earlier time; most days the rooms weren't cleaned until 3:00PM.
Everything went as planned; no problems. The reservations were made and I did not have any problems upon checking out. Everything was taken care of by Expedia.

No frills hotel just outside downtown austin

Posted May 12, 2016
Pros: Cheap, good value for the money.
Cons: As above, the basics: get the doors to not stick. Try to make the paint not chip/peel.
Location: Around the hotel itself / walking distance: not much. But you are right off the main highway into/out of downtown austin. 10-15 mins to downtown!
Served it's purpose: a hotel I can crash at after a busy day in Austin's downtown and surrounding areas. Some of the pain was peeling, the bathroom door stuck a little bit when trying to close / open. But I didn't expect much given the rock bottom pricing.

Average place , convenient location

Posted May 10, 2016
Pros: Rooms are not bad...would have enjoyed bigger beds, though, but still it was good for the price.
Cons: We asked for a crib in the morning and they said we would have it along the day, but it never came.
Location: I like running and I started jogging randomly on Airport Dr and ended up in Mueller Park, a wonderful place for jogging
Traveling from Dallas, this is a convenient place to stay. North of Austin and still not far from downtown and University

Convenient

Posted May 10, 2016
Pros: Breakfast was Ok?
Cons: Price - charged extra $80 for a room with two double beds rather than change from queen bed?
Location: College graduation
Convenient location, affordable. Not sure why I was charged an extra $80 just to switch to a room with two double beds rather than one queen bed...seems a little exorbitant

Cleaning

Posted May 6, 2016
Hotel hallway and stairs never cleaned over 4 day stay . Many areas in need of painting, water in shower plentiful but inconsistent temperature. Door cards had to be re activated each day. updating would bring this property up to standards.

Over night stay

Posted Apr 27, 2016 on Hotels
Stay only one night. It was a handicap room with only a desk chair. An arm chair would have been nice, but none was available. Breakfast was nothing to brag about. Location was hard to get to. Will not stay there again.

Decent

Posted Apr 27, 2016 on Hotels
Hotel is mediocre. Kind of run down on the outside but the rooms are decent. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the least I'd expect, nothing spectacular. Noticed there was a security guy in the parking lot late at night that was good. Overall, it's decent I've stayed at much better LQs in this price range. However it is Austin and a decent value.
