Cons: Attention to detail and better coffee
The exterior of the hotel looks very nice but the inside tell an opposite story. The hotel elevator needs cleaning and attention to detail. This elevator has been forgotten and could look much better if it was cared for. The hallways have wallcovering that is coming deraching from the wall. The corridors needs cleaning. The bathroom tub needs attention around the floor. The door that decides the room from the other room needs to be insulated to avoid hearing the other people on the other side. Did not sleep due to the screaming and talking all night long.

Pros: Light breakfast and shuttle service
Cons: Major maintenance and cleaning
Cost with tax just over $200 for one night. The room had been vacuumed but was in generally dirty. The window was smeared with hand prints. The bed headboard was smeared up. The bathroom door had rot on the bottom with mismatched hardware. The bathroom exhaust fan was not working and appeared to be plugged up with dust. The television stopped working.

South Austin near airport

Pros: I like the friendly clerks
Cons: A walkway to Denny's next door.
Location: They have finished most of the highway improvements around the hotel. The location is on Ben White Hwy(Hwy 71) and Riverside Dr.
I have been staying at Austin Airport La Quinta on and off for many years. I love the drive south leaving Austin at 8AM, since the traffic is all coming in to Austin and no traffic leaving Austin. The hotel staff are great. There is a Denny's and a Starbucks within walking distance. Catfish Parlor and Sally's Cowgirl Saloon down the road and are excellent restaurants. They have shuttles to the airport, washers and driers, fast W-FI and nice suites. The pool is nice and they have nice no smoking rooms. There are snack machines and soda machines on the 1st floor.

Needs updating!!!!

Pros: people and the beds are great!
Cons: bathrooms, pool furniture, and definitely the breakfasts!
Location: there is a great Texmex restaurant in the plaza next door called Javie's.....great food....good drinks...shrimp tacos are delicious!!!
we spent $250+ for our one night stay. Bathroom needs serious updating...tub worn and grungy looking, old shower curtain, etc. The breakfast was not as good as other hotels we have used....no bacon, sausage, hot cereal, hot anything!...you could make waffles, and there were hard boiled eggs. All bread products in packages.....too bad because it is in a good location, staff are friendly and the eating area is open and part of the lobby....pool area is nice, but definitely needs new furniture.....over all, needs some work!

Dirty and run down

The hotel looks great from the outside but the inside is run down, extremely dirty, the carpet was stained, the furniture was stained and the floor was sticky. We have stayed at many La Quinta establishments and have never experienced this quality.

good to be close to airport

Cons: door to adjoining room
I had a 6 am departure so closeness to airport and shuttle were great features. the door to adjoining room could be more soundproof. could hear next room conversation on phone, even could hear the person on the other end

Close to airport

Was a great location with high ceiling guest rooms. Decent poolside and offered fresh lemon water inside. Was a really great spot for the cost.

My friend got bit by bed bugs

It was horrible the tolet ran all night Bed bugs left a trail of bite marks on my friend's leg
