100 dollar surprise

Pros: Super nice location. The place was rustic. Nice leather furniture. Cool bar area. Good view of lake.
Cons: Include that 100 dollars in the expedia price. I was pretty upset about that.
Location: The lake is right there. Beautiful.
Prepaid on expedia, but surprise! You owe the resort 100 dollars!

Thank you for staying with us and providing feedback. The $100 is an authorization is $50 per night for incidentals in case you charge something to the room. It is just a hold and if nothing is charged to the room the funds are returned. If you would like to discuss this further please contact the hotel and speak to the front office manager.

Quiet Time!

Pros: Quiet, great staff!
Cons: The restaurant could be better.
Location: Great remote location, but a little to far from downtown for frequent visits to Austin.
Nice hotel, comfortable beds, quiet environment, very relaxing. Although it was January the pool and hot tub area were fully operational and very inviting. It's a little off the beaten path...if you want to spend time in downtown Austin. Breakfast buffet was very nice, other meals were nothing special so we ate our lunches and dinners in the city. The staff overall were enthusiastic, helpful and very friendly. Other than the 25 minute wait at check in because they couldn't find our prepaid reservation and blaming it on Expedia...it was a nice stay.

Great resort and wonderful staff!

Pros: This resort is by a lake and the staff was kind, welcoming and very attentive.
Cons: The second parking lot is a bit far from main door. Maybe some of the valet parking spaces could be opened up to allow for closer parking for guest.
Location: Resort on a lake for some fun in the sun and downtown Austin is not a long drive.
This resort on the lake is beautiful and very comfortable! We stayed in a King Suite with a balcony overlooking the lake. It was relaxing and the staff was exceptional.

Lovely location Great breakfast buffet.

Watch the billing. The hotel tacked on extra charges on the rooms. Said they were deposits that would be returned if room was not damaged. Will wait and see if that is correct.

Location: It was close by to great restaurants and Lake Travis!
It was an overall excellent experience, the staff was friendly and available and the facilities were in great condition!

Close to the lake, terrible otherwise

Hotel staff are rude. T/R restaurant and room service are a joke. Paper thin walls, no privacy. Will not recommend or stay here again.

It was good over all. However, several people had trouble with their toilets flushing. The tubs did not drain properly so if you showered the water came up past your ankle. No complimentary breakfast and they charge and additional 30$ for newspaper, water and regular parking you do not have a choice you have to pay for the newspaper.

Beautiful lake views

Property is beautiful, Great Lake views, good food. Wonderful Bell man, Elvis, who was great help with wheel chair bound guest!
