Even though I borrowed my mom's DSLR I was using my Olloclip more. Bilker is a beautiful place to stop at any time of year. There are water falls, trails, butterflies, and cool cactus garden. Since SXSW is starting it was pretty busy, but in April, like Mayfield, everything changes and because it's getting warmer the flowers are everywhere!

Located in Austin, Texas, this museum tracks Texas history from its earliest occupants through to the present day. It makes for an interesting few hours.
The museum is also home to Austin's IMAX theater which always offers great documentaries and feature movies, in standard or 3D. Observe warning signs. #troverATX Congress Avenue Bridge. August, 2011. The Circuit of the Americas race track in Austin, Texas. A phenomenal purpose-built track about 30 mins away from downtown Austin, it's home to the American Formula One car race held in November of each year.
The track, also referred to as COTA, is also host to MotoGP, Le Mans and various other races throughout the year including vintage cars. The Aussie V8 Supercars raced here in 2013. The track also successfully bid to host the popular X Games.
The track also can be rented by car clubs from around the USA. Additionally, you can visit the track and view it from its main tower for about US$20.00. This was a new kind of funky retro hipster Tex-Mex joint with ceilings armored in hubcaps and with lighted '58 Cadillac fins jutting out of the walls. Many people flocked here to try out fajitas for the first time. 33 years and 50 locations later, the hubcaps have not tarnished on the birthplace of the It's long way up to the cupola of the Texas Capitol, but you can make out the letters of the word TEXAS around the star. Designed in 1881 by architect Elijah E. Myers, it was constructed from 1882 to 1888 under the direction of civil engineer Reuben Lindsay Walker. A $75 million underground extension was completed in 1993. It's just south of downtown, still in the city proper and is really quite gorgeous. Great Pulled Pork! Fun stuff here! We enjoyed delicious coffee made from locally roasted beans.
