Man Bites Dog has something for everyone. For omnivores there's a deep-fried, bacon-wrapped hotdog. Vegetarians can get veggie dogs AND veggie chili. They even have vegan cheese and a gluten-free bun option. Tie clip collection at Out Of The Past. You make my heart soar. Nice #wheatpaste on Morrow at the railroad crossing. I wish the people who put up the Found Dog poster had been a little more stingy with the duct tape, though. Nutella and chocolate pretzel milkshake at Hopdoddy. Like the milkshake in Pulp Fiction, it's well worth $5. Every light bulb you can imagine Out Of The Past Collectibles is a fascinating and funky store. Their shelves are crammed floor-to-ceiling with odds, ends, antiques, and toys. It's like shopping at a giant kooky garage sale. You can find some good deals and rare gems among the truckloads of old stuff. They've been in Austin for 30 years. The North Austin Trailer Yard is now open! Trailers that serve sandwiches, hot dogs, gyros, and coffee are now open or opening soon. Acupuncture Together is great if you need acupuncture and you're on a budget. The room is dimly lit, quiet, and very comfortable. Napping is encouraged. The staff is very nice and they make you feel welcome. I spotted this subtle sticker in an unexpected place: at a bank drive-thru. This restaurant is hidden in the corner of a nondescript strip-mall. It serves really good interior Mexican food. These spinach enchiladas were surprisingly fresh and very flavorful. Funny face sprayed on the asphalt. Literally #streetart. #austin #graffiti All vegan tacos, breakfast and lunch. :) highly recommend the vegan chorizo and Bird Cloud! A vegetarian kielbasa dog from The Purple Tongue, a food trailer at the North Austin Trailer Yard (NATY). Delicious and the price is right. You can have it as vegan, but I added cheese to this one. Green onion pie at CoCo's. Super good and crazy addictive! Skull sticker near Bartholomew park. A stencil (pretty far north!) on CVS on Burnet. #streetart #stencil #austin Fried frog legs - my first experience. Tender, like black cod, a bit fishy, falls off the bone. Not bad at all. Joe McDermott performing children's songs at the North Austin Trailer Yard. They regularly have performers for kids on Sundays at 11 am. #KidsFun Holy molé! The mole enchiladas at Casa Chapala are good. The queso was also excellent--they use fresh high-quality cheese. Drawing of some Thundercloud Subs employees, by an employee. Subs are cheap and good and the place is funky and fun. People are soooooper nice. Extensive vintage collection, restocked daily. Irons! When I heard there was a place called Donut Taco Palace, I knew I had found my new favorite place. I could live off of donuts and breakfast tacos. There are three locations in Austin. They're set up like a donut shop, with a big display of donuts at the counter. But there's also a big menu overhead, and you can order tacos too! Tacos are prepared super-fast while you wait. Northwest Park is a great example, built in the middle of a residential neighborhood, the park presents as the private pool, tennis court, and playground for 100's of homes! Hot Rod show at Top Notch! Deborah Argyropoulos is a well known Artist based in Austin. Referred and/or vetted art connoisseurs can visit her incredible studio by appointment. Her career began as a portraitist, but her abstract and mixed media work have become the signature format that has made her a favorite collectible artist to Collectors, Interior Design, and Corporate clientele. I love this painting, it is one of two paintings from her metal-abstract fusion
