Not as good as we had hoped

Even though we had called to notify the hotel of a late check-in, the hotel was at full occupancy when we checked in at around 6:30pm. We had paid for a room with King bed, but was disappointed that we had to get a room with double-full beds. Because our stay was going to be pretty lengthy, we had to do a check-out and check-in the next morning for a room with a King bed. The first provided breakfast did not go well. They ran out of food and was not restocking items (such as scrambled eggs) even though there was still half an hour left before the cut-off time. The quality got worse and worse during our stay. So we decided to go out to breakfast on the last 2 days of our stay. Also the clean-staff did not clean our room one day. While it was nice to have a kitchen with a microwave and refrigerator (which did not function properly), the bathroom sink area is pretty small. There was very little room to put two people's toileteries items. It was really nice to find some paper plates and plastic utensils in the microwave, but the items were never replaced after we used it. We had expected more from a Marriott's property.
