Arboretum hotelPosted Jan 8, 2018
Visit was overall okay. Room very clean and nice, breakfast food was not my favorite. French toast was hard, omelet tasted weird, my room had a kitchen and was stocked with all the things you would need to cook and eat (pans, plates, etc.)

Nice clean hotel in nice areaPosted Nov 13, 2017
Hotel was a nice place. Only had a couple of problems. There was hardly any hot water for one person to shower so definitely not enough for 4 people. Other issue was our car tire was vandalized within the first 30 minutes we were there and it was right out the front door! They said their cameras only saw as for as the sidewalk at the door. Useless!
Great place with two minor problemsPosted Nov 5, 2017 on Hotels
Everything was very good - two complaints, not major. 1, back of parking lot was not well lit in a number of places you might need to park 2. The elevator is very slow and small, we ending up taking the stairs almost every time due to the wait. No big deal for us but if you have mobility issues keep this in mind

Clean rooms and free foodPosted Nov 1, 2017
The hotel staff accidentally assigned my friend and I a room that was already occupied by a family. However, she was very polite and professional; quick to apologize and amended the situation. I really appreciate her effort to remain calm while helping us get new rooms. The rooms were clean and had an amazing set up of separate living room, bedroom, and kitchen/dining area - with the kitchen fully stocked with plates, utensils, pots, pans, tupperware, and basic seasonings available.
Not staying there again.Posted Oct 31, 2017 on Hotels
The hotel had the wrong reservation for us. Instead of a single room suite they had us in a studio. They could/would not correct the mistake (even though I showed them a copy of my reservation) because they said they had a lot of people in the hotel and I should have checked in earlier if I wanted the room I reserved. In addition, the room was dirty, the bath sink drain smelled of mold and mildew every time we ran water down the drain, and the hair dryer case was broken to the point it was unsafe to use. Knowing they had a high occupancy, they did not staff up/ adjust for the breakfast meal. My wife could not get any coffee and they were out of nearly everything. She ended up having a piece of toast and water. No adjustments by the management to help ease the situation. Note: we stayed at this location this spring and the experience was wonderful. The setting is beautiful, the serves were great and the staff were very friendly. What a difference 6 months makes. We travel to the Austin area regularly to visit family. We will now be looking for another favorite place. This one is now off the list.

Very pleasedPosted Oct 26, 2017
We liked it enough that when we return to Austin in the future we won't even look at another hotel. Honestly we chose Staybridge for the low cost and couldn't be anymore pleased with what we got for our money. The room was clean and very comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was great. With a wide selection to choose from. We even used the pool at night to relax our sore feet after walking all day. Thumbs up!
