I mean, this is not a "nice" hotel. It's a real throwback to motels typical in the 70s, doesn't look like it's been updated since then.
The room was kinda smelly, bed not very comfortable and a few things (pool, ice-maker) did not work.
However, location is excellent if you want to be near downtown, the capitol and 6th st nightlife. Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was super basic (waffle-maker, cereal, yogurt and coffee) but free. Parking also free, which is rare in Austin hotels - most charge $30-40 per nights.
Place is about half the price of hotels in the area so if you're looking for a place to explore Austin a weekend or something and don't plan on spending much time in your room, it's a GREAT option.
