Big John Mills
Posted Dec 11, 2016
Wanted to come hear one of our favorite musicians, enjoy a nite downtown and spend the nite at the Driskill. John was great as always, Happy Hour at the Driskill bar - really loud, very unpleasant so found some great places within walking distance to have some appetizers and happy hour beverages, Fantastic dinner at Eddie V's. Back to room, hard to control temp, too hot then too cold, hard bed, squishy pillows, could hear music from 6th street (understandable for such an old hotel) but still not pleasant. View we paid big $$$ for was of a parking lot on the rooftop next door, couldn't see through the window because was foggy inside the window. Definitely wasn't worth the amount of money. Would not do again. Staff was very friendly.
