The check in process is very tedious. They email you the code (or at least they say they will) at exactly 3 pm on the day of check in. The day prior to my check in, I had requested the code 20 minutes early so that I could take a work phone call in the room. Instead, I was standing outside the building on my call (because you can't even get into the lobby area), and did not receive the code until 3:10, and that was only after I texted them while on my call to have them send me the information.
Also, after you book, they ask you to sign off on all of their rules, which require you to allow them to conduct a background check of you and send them a photo of your license. This should be noted up front. While most hotels check your license, they never maintain a copy of it. This is Extremely shady, and I would not have booked this place had I known I would be required to turn over all of my information in this manner.
