great hotel in a great location

Pros: upscale, contently located, modern, bedding was super comfy better than home. staff was awesome
Cons: the live music directly in the lobby at night makes it a bit difficult to check in depending on volume.
Location: i walked around the domain, and visited family in cedar park.
i recently stayed at the Westin at the domain while visiting family in cedar park Texas. i stayed from Friday to Sunday morning, the room and facilities were top notch. the only down side was parking on Saturday night was a bit of a squeeze. they say everything is bigger in Texas expect for the parking in the hotel lot. they had live music in the lobby on Friday night which made checking a little difficult. (noisy) i was acknowledged by every hotel staff employee i came in to contact with or passed by which was nice. the manager went out of his way to help me in the business lounge with an issue with the boarding pass kiosk computer. then later in the afternoon when he saw me remembered me from previous. he was even riding the elevator talking with guests as they rode to their floor. i did have noisy neighbors on my last night there but all in all its nothing against the hotel.

Clean hotel as it's new. Good staff, very helpful.

Great service from all staff groups, reception, front door, housekeeping, breakfast lady who gave me my hot cup water everyday as I requested. Nice location with lots of shops but nowhere near downtown. Taxi fare very high around $38 dollars not including tip eachway. Otherwise a great hotel and location very relaxing.

Staff was great! Stay was great, Only complaint was the lobby getting off the elevators on the second floor smelled really really bad.

Fancy hotel great safe location

This is a great place to stay. It was clean and safe. The only issue I had was checking out took way to long. There were three girls working and I waited at least 15-20 mins before I could turn my keys in to leave. Keep this in mind if you're leaving on a specific time schedule. Give yourself time, things take a long time.

Great Austin stay

Lovely hotel, spacious room, friendly staff but the best was the swimming pool. The Domain is a city unto itself and a great location. Plenty of places to wander.

Robbery!

Our own hot water pot got lost after room cleaning. When we reported it the lady at the reception made a phone call and after that she said: "We don't think anyone has taken it!" I believe, she indirectly said that we were lying! Nice and easy!

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I am sorry to hear that the water pot is missing. I have checked with the team that worked to find the pot but we have not found anything in the entire hotel. My apologies for the way their response came across as the team was trying to express that they were unable to locate the missing pot after checking with housekeeping, the housekeeper and in the kitchen were we believe the pot would have ended up as a Hot water pot would be used in rooms service.
