We came up to see quiet riot and stayed here. Building and rooms were neat and clean. Most comfortable bed ive ever slept in!

This is a tough property to rate. The area around the exit is basically a way station with hotels and truck stops. So this is not a place to stay for leisure unless you have business in the area. But it's a great place to rest off I-90. It's clean, safe, and the truck stops make it super easy to fuel up and keep travelling. It was also quieter than I expected, given how close it is to I-90.

Sorrow times but great stay
Wow! Several family members traveled to Ashtabula n stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, that was convenient to our emergency travel needs. Hotel is conveniently located near restaurants, gas station, stores and to highway. Rooms where Very clean and spacious, Decorated with modern design. All rooms had a refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast was great, with plenty of options for your tasting and likes. Had a great pool. Staff was outstanding! Helped us in many ways.

The gentleman that check Ed us in was very rude and we didn't get what we reserved. My daughter that had scoliosis really bad had to sleep on the floor and I was up all night because she was complaining about her back hurting and my son also had to sleep on the floor not very happy at all.

Exterior of the property was not well maintained and trees, grass, and bushes were overgrown covering walkways. Inside the property though, it was clean and well kept. Disappointed no bath tub in the room and was just a shower. At check in, the guy at the desk did not seem to be happy or interested in his job and lacked the friendliness that usually accompanies check in. Most dining options were at least 15 miles away and nothing near the hotel within walking distance other than a dennys across the street.

smoke alarm activating when talking a shower. complained as to why, asked are you smoking, and shower vent exhaust should be turned on. Neither of us are smokers and yes, exhaust fan was activated when using the shower. So inconvenient and annoying did not use shower next day, very disappointed in this management at this motel

Good coffee and breakfast. Pool area- edges around pool had lots of mold around the grooves. Grossed me out. I would think cleaning it with some bleach every few days would make it look nicer. Lots of unfinished moldings around doors in that area.

The free breakfast was excellent and the AM staff were efficent and friendly! When we checked in, the person at the front desk was not very welcome friendly and hard to understand!

So-so service and broken equipment
I stayed at this Hotel twice- once on my way to the event and once on my return. The first stay was without incident. The second was a different story. The ice machine on the third floor was broken, the smoke detector went off while I was in the shower ( I was later told it was due to the steam from the shower- I have NEVER had that happen in a hotel room before) and when I went to call the front desk to ask if there was a fire in the building no one answered the phone. I was later told that they may have been out trying to silence the alarm ( only about 30 minutes later- could I have talked to the same person who did not answer the phone?) I guess I will be crossing this hotel off of my list of places to stay in.

Staff friendly and efficient. Room poorly lit. Shower area- rusted drain grate, molding coming off base of shower, floor in bathroom wet when we arrived. Breakfast was excellent. Molding on door to room was peeling off. Shrubbery overgrown on sidewalk in parking lot.
