I checked in and got the key the door would not open so the front desk person opened the room 1st red flag. When I drove around to enter the room I found the bed was not made and all the sheets and ect! were on the floor. 2nd red flag. Went back and wanted my money back the Manager was there and keep trying to make excuses 3rd red flag I hope I get my money back the manager said you know it could take Two weeks which is better than staying there 1 night.

This motel was not at all clean. Hotels.com should review advertising this hotel and what they include in their ads. I think a more honest ad about this motel and its amenities would be a better service hotels.com could do for its customers. Advertising a free breakfast I don’t think is fair as one is not really available and be more honest that this hotel is not very clean.

Bathroom was dirty. Hair in the shower. Shower just generally dirty. Wash cloth (yes only 1) both days was brownish! Continental breakfast was a joke. ONE bagel and white bread slices. Coffee was empty. Water in carafe for tea wasn’t hot.

Pleasantly Surprised!
I’ve never stayed at a Red Roof before. In all honesty, they come with a bad reputation as dirty, rundown, & uncomfortable. BUT I was so pleasantly surprised when I decided to try this one due to mostly looking for a dog friendly property close to the wineries! This hotel was friendly, clean, & very comfortable. There are a couple things that could use an update but for the money & location, it was really nice!

The area was great. Front staff was nice. However, when we got in the room late that evening, there was hair and black specs all over the sheets, clearly they had no been washed. There was black hair all over the bathroom floor, toilet and vanity. An empty bag sitting behind the bathroom door, a huge wolf spider on the floor (alive) and the floor of the room has not been swept, especially not mopped. Clearly they did not clean the room aside from remake the bed, pretty sad to pay over $100 a night for a room and not even be respectful enough to clean it for guests.

The room was clean, adequate for one's overnight needs. Location was right off a highway. Only one restaurant nearby. The hotel only offered a cold buffet breakfast which was pretty sparce. There were only 2 cold cereals. Apples but no bananas for the cereal. The OJ and milk pitchers were practically empty. There was no one servicing the breakfast area. I mentioned the need for more milk and OJ to Lynn at the front desk and she cheerfully got more so we could eat our cereal. The hot water dispenser couldn't be used because the lever is broken. So, the hot water is in a small thermal pitcher. Instead of walking through the lobby, it is more convenient to use the hotel side door that enters directly into the hallway where the room are located. There were several men outside the door "partying" smoking, drinking beer and speaking profanity which we had to witness as we walked through the entry. The walls are paper thin so we could hear people talking in the hallway and the next room.
