Easy walk from the ferry; great front desk staff; cute room; loved the croissants & coffee in the morning; easy walking to everything especially our new favorite restaurant, Avalon Grille.

It was my family's and I first Time visiting catalina and we decided to stay at this gorgeous hotel the reason why was because it was in the center of everything, we got to check in early , we stayed there for 2 nights let me tell you , the staff was WONDERFUL!!! I have a toddler so they let me used their staff microwave.. also at 4pm you get a free wine glass and cheese . Im coming back forsure!!! Lovee itt

ordered two times with Expedia, 1st time I ordered with breakfast, but my client still was charged for breakfast, 2nd time still ordered with breakfast, but when checking in, my client was told they can not find the information regarding breakfast, after dispute, my client got a card for breakfast for one person only. Very bad experience.

The hotel is amazing with a beautiful reception area and foliage that makes you feel like you're walking through a jungle to get to your room. They will store your bags for you until check-in and we even got to check in early. I cant think of one thing I DIDN'T like about the hotel.

This hotel is a 5 minute walk from ferry. The hotel is very clean and the evening wine and cheese reception is a perk!! My hubby and I spent our 25th anniversary here. Julia is amazing she sent a bottle of wine to our room:) we’ll definitely be back soon!!

For this property you are paying for location. You can walk to the ferry and you are on the main street. Everything is very easy to access. However, the property is less than satisfactory. It is similar to a motel. There is no pool or hot tub. We woke up to no hot water which it was fixed within 30 minutes and our room was not cleaned. We found a hunk of broccoli on the floor when we checked it out.

Great Hotel
All I can say is what a hotel! We went for vacation and it had such a relaxing and resort feel!! Clean, comfortable and great service. Staff is very friendly, helpful and present. The wine and cheese happy hour made us feel fancy 😂

Wonderful hotel with great service.
This place is great. Close to everything and has a beautiful garden longe area where you can rest and relax for hours. Room was good but the service was great. Front desk people were very helpful and the complimentary wine and cheese hostess was wonderful. Would definitely stay again.

The outdoor seating area was very inviting. The grounds around the hotel were very well manicured and maintained. The room was very clean and the hotel offered small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion. I prefer those over mass dispensers on the walls. The hotel was close to everything and reasonably priced. My husband and I would stay there again if going to Catalina Island.

BEST PROPERTY on the island! I was here during Hurricane Hilary and the staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND at every turn. We really just got continuous rain here but they still hosted coffee/muffins in the morning in the lovely library and wine/cheese in the evening. Truly amazing Disney like customer service. PLEASE stay here next time you visit Avalon.
