The homemade breakfast was excellent, with delicious fresh bread, jam, and coffee. The beautiful garden added to the charm and relaxation of the stay. "we were positively surprised by how good a hotel it is. dinner was cooked over an open fire. our steaks were super good. you could get beer from the neighboring brewery, among other things. the breakfast was fantastic, home-made buns, fresh fruit and other good products... the room and the bathrooms were top... the staff were nice, helpful. all in all a lovely experience. we will come again"

Excellent food and a copious breakfast, with delicious organic fruit, cheese, meat and drink from the farm and other local producers. "Absolutely shocking. Arrived at 7.20pm. Check in was between 5-8pm. No sign of anyone. Phoned both phone numbers and messaged via hotel.com - no answer from property. Waited there for an hour. We were extremely tired after leaving the UK at 7am!!! Had to find another hotel at ann extra cost. Eventually arrived around 9pm. Hotel owner phoned me at 10.38pm, waking us up, to ask where we were and apologise! What a joke. A formal complaint has been made to hotel.con who were extremely helpful...
