A Great Base to tour the Tarn
We only had an overnight stay as we were travelling from the Riviera to the Dordogne. We used Les Raspes to do the Roquefort Cheese tour. The hotel exceeded our expectations, the service was great and we also had a great meal out in their garden. There was also an offer to order the following days lunch which we availed ourselves of and it was great. All of their prices for food and drinks was by French standards, very reasonable. We could have spent a lot more time in the area and certainly at the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at Hôtel les Raspes very much. Our room was clean and overlooked an attractive courtyard with flowers and a pool where we had a good dinner and breakfast. The hotel is personally run by the owners Sophie and her husband Kevin. Sophie was very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English.

A gem in a beautiful village.
This was a great find. Beautiful small hotel in quaint village; with great friendly service from owners. Beautiful terrace with swimming pool.

Lovely place for a stopover near Millau.
Everything about this hotel is a delight. From the welcome on arrival to departure when we paid our bill I could not fault the place. Lovely dinner in the garden and excellent breakfast inside. Comfortable room. Charming couple. What more could you want?

Welcome oasis
This is a magical place. The town is small and picturesque, but the hotel itself is a gem. Sophie and Kevin will make your stay memorable. The gardens and terraces are truly an oasis from everyday life. The culinary treats from the kitchen were varied and welcome. I look forward to a return visit.

Overnight Stay
My husband and I stayed here for one night, and I wish we had stayed longer. The room was very comfortable, and the restaurant was good. We were there on a Sunday night, so most of the town was closed, but it looked like there were interesting things in the area.

A gem of a hotel
This hotel is in an idyllic situation and the hotel is equally idyllic with excellent food and local wine. It is hotel for those who put quality first allied to peace and quiet ~ something which we valued after a long drive. The hotel is only accessible by car

The perfect get away destination!
Great stay, beautiful location and fantastic hosts. Food at the hotel restaurant was excellent with beautiful rustic charm. We really appreciated the many personal touches we experienced during our stay. Would highly recommend if passing through the area.

Excellent hotel - very strongly recommended
Sophie and Kevin made us very welcome, to the extent of showing us personally to our room and leaving us a handwritten note of welcome together with some very tasty biscuits. The bedroom was clean and welcoming, and the balcony was superb (you have to specifically book a balcony room overlooking the garden for an extra 10 € but it was very well worth it). There is a swimming pool and sitting out area and everything is very relaxed. Dinner was excellent as was breakfast and reasonably priced. All in all, we could not fault either the hotel or the area and we will definitely return.

Wonderful Service
The married owners are absolutely charming. Service and food are of high quality and very efficient - breakfast in the room arrives within minutes and is right with nothing missing on the tray, often not the case in many hotels I have experienced. It has a very pretty garden with a nice pool. If we are in the area again we would happily return to Hotel les Raspes.

Great Hotel in southern France
This place was great. Sophie and Kevin run a great business. If I am ever back in this area of France I would stay here again in a heart beat. They stayed up late to let us in since we called and said we would miss the check in time. When we got to our room, there was a personal note welcoming us to the hotel.

Medieval Magic in St Rome De Tarn
Great respite from the city. Stunning garden, pool and terrasse. Rooms are tiptop clean. Balcony rooms facing the garden are better. Room #6 too noisy, in front of trash can site! Owners were accommodating since we got no sleep the first night. Dinner menu of 4-courses for 26€ is a great value, go for the nearby locally produced duck and meats, steer away from the fish.

Hotel was well signposted which was helpful as arrived as it was starting to get dark. Hotel room was clean and comfortable, though some of the carpeting in the hotel was slightly stained. The service was excellent, friendly and helpful. Our evening meal was delicious.

A Real Gem
What an unexpected pleasure and a pity we couldn't have stayed longer. The proprietors, Kevin and Sophie have created a fabulous and welcoming place to stay in the beautiful little village of Saint-Rome-de-Tarn, in the picturesque Tarn Valley. We arrived quite late in the evening, but were still able to enjoy a great meal of local fare in the hotel restaurant (with the vegetables fresh out of the hotel's own garden). The rooms are fairly basic, but clean and tidy, and our room had a little balcony that looked out into the courtyard. The hotel is in a centuries old building, but has been well converted, and provides a very good ambience. It was nice to stay in something that felt authentic and local, instead of the more 'corporate' feel of many chain hotels. While the hotel is (fairly) rated as 3-star, we enjoyed our stay as much or more than our stays in 4-star plus hotels on our trip.

Charming location, extravagant fixtures.
Just outside the medieval walls of a little village in the Tarn valley. The refinishing of the centuries-old building into a boutique hotel was done with very expensive fixtures, including an elevator which made it all wheelchair accessible! We suppose an absentee owner with a lot of money and very good taste. The young couple operating the hotel was competent but not very knowledgeable about the area; I had to explain to them the meaning of the name of the plaza around the corner. Nice bakery next door. Good cook at the hotel.

Super séjour dans cet hôtel.
Sophie est une hôtesse très sympathique qui fait tout pour que le séjour se passe bien (accueil, disponibilité, gentillesse, sourire et dynamisme). Kevin assure une restauration de grande qualité grâce à des produits frais et locaux (certains arrivent directement de son potager) et à des prix très attractifs.Etape à recommander vivement. Nous y reviendrons !

Accueil très chaleureux de Sophie qui malgré sa grossesse se donne à fond pour faire de notre séjour un moment tres agreable. Nos chambres au deuxième étage donnaient sur la terrasse ombragée où nous avons diné d'une excellente cote de boeuf de l'aubrac cuite au feu de bois , super foie gras, fromages locaux délicieux . Bon vins, choix de bieres, de wisky et de rhum, tout y est pour une super soiree. Le petit dejeuner copieux y est également servi. La piscine est parfaite et les couchages sont bien confortables. Il faisait tres chaud ce WEnd mais les chambres coté jardin permettent de profiter de la fraîcheur de la nuit et de trouver le sommeil tres facilement. Nous recommandons cette charmante adresse.
