Good location.

Posted Nov 11, 2017
Pros: Loved the location near centre and railway/bus station. Excellent breakfast with lots of local produce and variety. Clean rooms and comfortable bed.
Cons: I couldn't manage to get the radiator controls to operate, should have asked, but it was not cold enough to bother.
Location: Viisits to Arles and St Remy de Provence - easy to reach. There I explored the Van Gogh locations and museums. Also took an excursion to Marseille.
A very good stay exploring the delights of Avignon.

Pleasant staff and centrally located hotel. A little more "old school" European hotel but an overall solid experience. If you're going to eat breakfast at the hotel, only do so if it's part of the package price. Otherwise, it's overpriced...

Dear Anonymous, Thank you for having noted in the first place in your comment what you liked during your stay in our establishment! A big thank also from our staff whose skills you have raised! We are somewhat sorry that you consider our breakfast at the only angle of the price ... In fact, the vast majority of our customers plebiscite such a service, both in its culinary aspect than financial! But, as we say in France, 'all tastes are in nature'😊! Very cordially! The direction.

Very convenient. I had a great room on a corner with street views and windows on both sides. Easy walk to everything.

Dear Jean, There is certainly a time to observe (sometimes from a window!), and still a time to be a player of things! Our beautiful city of Avignon does not escape this principle! Thank you for having noted in your comment how easy it is from our hotel to reach in a few minutes every district of Avignon! Cordial greetings!

The essentials hotel

Just what you need for one night. Rooms are extremely tight so one night or perhaps two it's not a problem. More than that and there are issues. Friendly staff. We didn't try the breaksfast.

Amazing hotel, great location!

Really nice hotel! Amazing location, right in the middle of Avignon, with restaurants, bars, cafes and shops all around. Staff were really friendly and helpful, with directions and able to assist plan days for me. Room was great. Excellent air-conditioning and bathroom, with spacious shower.

Dear Alex, Above all we would like to thank you on behalf of all our staff for the appreciation you have expressed about them! Then you are right to point out, Avignon is a city that has a lot to offer and to discover and if our establishment can register in this dynamic then our bet is successful! Very warmly! The Manager

Surprisingly wonderful

Posted Aug 18, 2017 on Hotels
We stayed in a three-star hotel in Paris and a four-star hotel in Nice, but the Regina far surpassed both of them! Both my husband and I agreed this is the best hotel we stayed in in France. We braced ourselves for the worst based on some bad reviews and the two-star rating, but enjoyed a very spacious, and impeccably clean room, in a perfect location in Avignon. It appears the whole hotel has been recently renovated because it looks nothing like some of the photos online (with red rooms), and has updated, modern rooms. The only thing I would suggest would be to put more than two packets of coffee in the rooms and maybe some bottled water. We were sad to leave!

Dear madam and dear sir, A man once said "I can live two months with a good compliment", with your comment, we could certainly hold until the end of the year!! We confirm that we have renovated our establishment in the last two years, but what really touches us is that you have noticed it and expressed it so sympathetically! Warm greetings!! Manager

the location is perfect. once arrive at the station, it only takes you 5 minutes to walk there. near the major attractions and the tourism office is just 2 blocks away. shopping is rather convenient along Rue de la République. supermarket is just across the street.
