“Graham was the perfect host. His attention to detail was exceptional. The property looked brand new inside. Amazing facilities, lounge, DVDs, books, coffee machine etc. Great parking and charging for EVs. Good selection for breakfast and delicious home made bread and jams. I’d recommend the Old Manor House and we will be back.”

“Great chinwags with host David, a kind fellow. A very generous breakfast cooked to our liking. Great location, within walking distance to High Street, the Abbey, Chalice well and the Tor. Nice extras were a bathrobe and instant coffee/tea in the room. Thanks for your recommendations for local restaurants. Very pleasant stay.”

“Check in was efficient and friendly. Room: cleanliness questionable ! bathroom was had dust on skirting boards, edges of floor and sockets, with someone’s hair left in the waste bin. Black towels … never know if they are used or not ! Bedding material felt strange, not cotton. Room 6 - close to stairs / doors so noisy when anyone came to bed. Sat Evening & Sunday breakfast- the chef (two different ones) were stood outside the kitchen door on the way for guests to their rooms, vaping.……

“Everything fine for a one night stop over, pub close by for a night cap. Only thing that spoiled it for me was the selfish people who arrived at 3.30am making a right racket. Not sure why people can’t be more considerate, but that’s a human problem not the accommodations problem!!”
