"This hotel is bare-bones but perfectly good for a guest who is not planning to spend time in the hotel itself. The staff was friendly, but didn't know the answer to one of my questions. The location is excellent for flying out of RIC airport."

"Lovely room, sloppy execution The suite itself was great, and I’d happily stay here again. But for this price point, a few things felt surprisingly unpolished. Check-in was disorganized. Staff didn’t seem sure what was going on, I was handed off to a second person midway through, and it felt like the valet team was covering for the front desk. Our King Suite sleeps three, yet there were no extra pillows or blankets in the room. When we called down at 2 a.m., the hotel was out and had to pull bedding from an unoccupied room. To their credit, it arrived quickly, but it shouldn’t have been necessary. The room also had very little sound insulation. Even at the end of the hall, we heard the elevator ding every single time. None of this ruined the stay, but these are details I’d expect a hotel at this level to have nailed down. A solid four stars, with an easy path to five."

"Very pink, but in a cute way. Wish we’d arrived earlier for the bar. Very good heavy door made me feel safe, but room seemed a bit warm for thermostat at 68. It wouldn’t go lower"

"Great place to stay in Richmond. Located within a half mile of VCU’s medical campus and also close to Richmond’s city center. There are restaurants within a few minutes walking distance and a cute coffee shop too. The hotel itself has a cozy and modern feel. The staff were friendly and helpful! Would stay again!"

"Staying at the Jefferson is like stepping into an old movie set in a beautiful hotel (and I am sure it has in fact "starred" in a few movies). The hotel is immaculate and the staff are friendly and helpful. The room was inviting and, honestly, I think the bed is one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in — perfect mattress, perfect pillows, cool sheets. We hope we can have another little getaway there someday!"
