Lovely Guest house.Posted Sep 12, 2015
We had 4 nights at Craigie Guest House and Bill looked after us like family. He advised us the best places to visit, and eat. The breakfasts were great! Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Bill!!

Mean portions at BreakfastPosted Jun 25, 2015 on Hotels
Reasonably comfortable stay at an average B &B. However I fail to understand why the cooked breakfast for my husband and I was markedly smaller than the other guests. i.e. half a slice of black pudding and a quarter of a potato scone and one rasher of bacon ?? Was it because we booked through Hotel.com and not direct like the other guests? We were seated at the far end of the table but we did notice! If I were you Hotel.com I would investigate this. So much for Scottish hospitality and we are Scots ourselves! Not impressed.

Excellent position for walking into AyrPosted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: The friendliness of the owner, the room and it's outlook and convenience for walking into Ayr.
Cons: Possibly a new mattress.
Location: Central location. The owner was very helpful in giving suggestions for places of interest. Train services to Glasgow excellent.
Very friendly welcome from the host who was helpful in every respect. Lovely room overlooking a park, and short walk to Tesco-if required! Plenty of open green spaces around and situated very close to the race course. Highly recommended!

Craigie Guest HousePosted Oct 13, 2014
Pros: Clean, quiet, great location. Comfortable bed and a HOT powerful shower. Excellent value for money.
Cons: Nothing at all. Exceeded one's hopes for a comfortable Guest House.
Location: Near the town centre; the University and the College. My room backed onto the racecourse--lovely open aspect.
One night stay for an interview. Host was very welcoming and extremely accommodating.
