Staff were excellent, they made us feel very welcome We expected a standard double as that’s what I booked through Expedia but we were given a cosy double as it was called on the Glenisle website , the room was very nice but the en suite needed some attention to the tiles in the shower and the shower tap system , this room was also at the top of the hotel and I found it a struggle by the time I reached the last set of stairs, Breakfast was excellent and dinner was nice but not outstanding. The location was great and the bus service as well . We would return but stay on a lower floor

The Glenisle is a stunning location on the sea front in Lamlash. Views of Holy Isle, plus a nice walk along the sea front Short drive from the port of Brodick. Friendly staff Nice bar and bistro area plus outdoor seating area. Our room was in the eaves and was quite warm, due to safety the window opened a little way so not much chance of fresh aitmr. Comfy bed and the room was compact. Food was delicious in the bistro and lots of local produce. Breakfast was made to order and a choice of 6 options

Cannot recommend highly enough. Staff welcoming, friendly and helpful. Room bright, great facilities and comfortable. Views amazing, food choice and quality brilliant. Would love to stay here again. Travel from ferry port very easy

Lovely room, very well equipped, nice bright bathroom with excellent shower. Super comfy large bed. Breakfast was very good, fabulous friendly attentive staff in all parts of hotel.

The room was poky with eave just above bed (two bumps on head). Shower fused in morning and no reply from reception so left without showering. Breakfast served on thin rectangular plate which made it difficult to cut food. Worst coffee ever. Despite this the staff were very pleasant.

We stayed here for two nights to celebrate New Year. Lovely little hotel. The staff were amazing, could not do enough for you. The breakfast was DELICIOUS!!! Will definitely be back 😁

We had an amazing stay at the Glenisle on the weekend 3-5th November! The hotel is lovely, spotless & well kept! The staff are second to none! So friendly & helpful, best customer service we have received in a long time. We booked a table for the drag bingo that weekend too, what a great laugh that was. Breakfast each morning was served quick and to our liking (I'm a fussy eater) and nothing was ever a bother. We will definitely be returning to the Glenisle on our next visit to Arran!

Enjoyed our stay ,room clean and comfortbalr (room 12) we did have a noosy radiator thiugh during the night had to turn it off to stop the noise .breakfast was lovely and staff very helpful We had a few drinks at the var which i felt wete very overpriced ,prosecco and a pint just over £14 . Would stay again

Our stay in the Glenisle was unexpected due to our ferry being cancelled. How fab were all the staff ! The check in simple and friendly, and the room was lovely and bright and clean. The restaurant staff and the food were outstanding. The ambience of the lounge for a nightcap was perfect. For me, the breakfast was better than our previous hotel ( Auchrannie). Nathan was also very informative about the ferry issues and displayed an empathy beyond his years. We would definitely book this hotel again. A lucky find in unfortunate circumstances.

Had a great stay at the Glenisle Hotel. We just had our first baby and the staff were so accomodating and made us feel very welcome and relaxed. The food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. The hotel is situated well for exploring the island. Lamlash has quite a few bars and restaurants and isn't far from Brodick. Room was a good size for our travel cot, bed was comfy and shower was powerful. Looking forward to staying at the Glenisle again in the near future.

Nice to look at, enjoyment experience didn’t match
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and looked lovely. The only let down was the mattress was overly soft which did not result in a good nights sleep for either me or my husband. We ate dinner in the restaurant- again service great. Food was ok. Chips were awful and therefore detracted the enjoyment of the meal. Surprised with the chips that were served.

Fantastic hotel
We had a wonderful couple of days on Arran and we couldn't fault the Glenisle Hotel. The food was great and the staff superb. Would recommend to anyone. Lots of steep stairs to climb though so not suitable for those in a wheelchair.

This hotel was excellent in its location. The room was very good and very clean. However we were very disappointed in the dinner menu and opted not to eat in the hotel restaurant. Whilst the hot breakfast choice was very good, some items were not available and there were limited cold items such as cereals, fruit etc.

Beautiful location right opposite the bay. Despite not able to see the bay from my bedroom the dining room was a delight looking out over the sea as I thoroughly enjoyed the freshly made Scottish cooked breakfast. Fresh filtered black coffee was delicious, a perfect start to my day. The single room was nicely decorated and furnished with an en-suite and lovely spa toiletries. Although the bed looked inviting I had a very restless sleep as the mattress had virtually no padding in it, I could feel the springs easily on every turn. But the quilt was warm with a very attractive Scottish tartan blanket. The telly was tiny, barely 24" with a vertical column on the right of purple, the result of at least a double width of dead cells. Trying to watch a movie was very distracting and eventually I gave up!
