"Overall this was a good stay. The riverfront, Cockburn’s & a fantastic Fado restaurant is within easy walking distance Our choice of room was double-booked & we were given the larger house. The ac had been turned off because the nights were cool. The problem was the day was very warm & the house was stuffy and we were told that we couldn’t leave the door open. The owner turned the ac on later in the night & it was very pleasant afterward."

"This property was absolutely perfect for my family of 9 people. Everyone had great rooms (comfortable, spacious and clean) and there were common areas for us to enjoy time together (Library room and the pool/patio).. The property was very well situated, with a fruit/vegetable stand right across the street and with bars and restaurants nearby. A terrific café/bakery right around the corner was a daily first stop!!
