"A jewel box of a hotel"
Stayed here for a weekend in November 2015. This is a lovely little old-style boutique hotel in an excellent location - convenient to shopping, dining, Fenway Park etc. The staff are excellent, very helpful and friendly even at 4am during our checkout. The lobby is gorgeous & smells delightful. Also liked the City Table & City Bar dining options in the hotel. I will warn you that this hotel, while pretty and "antique", is not for people who place great importance on spacious accommodations or the newest best everything. The rooms were on the small side and the bathrooms are quite cramped (our toilet was diagonally positioned between the vanity & shower because there wasn't really enough room). The shower head was too low for my 6'4 husband. The elevators, being older, are slow. I wouldn't let these things deter you from staying at the Lenox because it really is a lovely place, but you should be warned that this is not a super new sparkling hotel.
