No mini-fridge?

Posted Aug 8, 2017
Very comfortable room, great location and I got a great deal... but no fridge? I found that to be very odd.

Dear AT, Many guests have found that a stay in one of our spacious rooms makes them feel right at home and yet pampered by our unique amenities and although each room is not equipped with its own mini-fridge, we would be happy to provide one upon request should availability permit. We welcome you to join us again anytime and hope that you will hurry back soon. Intuitively Yours, Copley Square Hotel

Nice hotel close to shopping centre.

Posted Aug 7, 2017
Pros: Nice big room with free easy to use wifi.
Cons: Cleanliness of room - glasses washed when used and crumbs on floor vacuumed. Shower gel replaced when fully used.
Location: Within walking distance to town centre and Boston Common and Public Garden. Few minutes to walk to Boston public library and Prudential centre.
Comfortable stay with easy check in/out. Staff friendly, polite and helpful.

Great location

Posted Aug 5, 2017
Room was very odd shaped and narrow. Closet and bathroom location within the room very odd and inconvenient. Beds felt like full beds instead of queen bed. Great location though. Bus stops , shopping areas very close. Could walk to many attractions.

Close to downtown Boston

Posted Jul 23, 2017
I have stayed at this hotel two times. It is in downtown, close to shopping, restaurants, sightseeing. Friendly staff. Small hotel rooms, but it is in downtown, so didnt mind. Tricky with parking though. I parked at the shopping mall just opposite the hotel, like $33 for 24 hrs. but overall happy with the hotel, and would stay there again.

Dear Guest, It is a treat to find that you so wonderfully enjoyed your stay with us and that our convenient location provided the perfect access to everything that you needed during your travels in our great city. While parking in the Back Bay can certainly be challenging this time of year, we are elated that this did not tarnish the delightful experience that you had while visiting with us the second time around. We thank you for sharing this review and we look forward to seeing you again in the months ahead. Intuitively Yours, Copley Square Hotel

Pleasant, centrally located.

Posted Jul 19, 2017
Pros: Central location, modern, comfortable.
Cons: Valet and check-in was a bit hectic - perhaps more valet staff as they had a couple customers arrive at once and not enough staff to handle everyone.
Location: Awesome location. Steps to Copley Square, short walk to downtown, Public Garden, Boston Common. Tons of cafes and restaurants nearby. Very convenient.
My husband and I stayed at the Copley Square Hotel for one night, during July 4th weekend. It has a great central location in the Back Bay area - steps from Copley Square and Newbury Street, and a short walk from the Public Garden and Boston Common. Valet parking and check-in was a bit hectic, but it all worked out fine. The hotel is in a charming old building that has been nicely updated. Our room was small, which isn't surprising for a room in a larger city, was comfortable and also nicely updated. Price was reasonable for the area.

Dear Lynn, As you have discovered, our location in the heart of the Back Bay places our guests just moments away from some of the most spectacular attractions in our great city and we are thrilled that you could join us for such a national celebratory occasion. Although our valet parking provides our guests with a great deal of convenience when looking to spend more time out exploring Boston, it can become quite busy this time of year, and we thank you for remaining patient with us as we provided each guest with the personalized service and attention that is signature of the Copley Square experience. We greatly appreciate you investing the time to share your thoughts with us and trust that we will be seeing you again in the months and years ahead. Intuitively Yours, Copley Square Hotel

nice hotel good location not great ammenities

Posted Jul 19, 2017
Pros: the décor was nice. we also liked the Copley square area.
Cons: put in microwaves in the rooms and refrigerators or at least have a microwave in the lobby and put in vending machines
Location: Marriott hotel where the trolley picks you up is right across the street. Public Library is right next door. Copley Square is a nice area.
We arrived at the hotel at midnight as our flight had been delayed. We were hungry when we arrived. To our surprise there was nowhere in the immediate vicinity of the hotel to go and eat. There was nothing in sight but other hotels. I had decided I'd warm in the microwave the other half of my burger that I had gotten at dinner in the airport and they said the rooms did not have microwaves. I asked could I use the one downstairs (as every hotel I have ever stayed at has had one in the breakfast area of the lobby or in the snack bar room where you buy snacks) they didn't have one. There was not one anywhere in the hotel according to the front desk clerk. They said there was a grocery store the next block over but with no microwave and it being after midnight, we didn't want to go to the grocery store. So, I asked where the vending machines are located and they have NONE! They said they did have bottled water and we got three hot bottled waters and drank that until we could get to breakfast the next morning (at the grocery store the next day that had a dunkin donuts inside the store). The ONLY place nearby to get food was the dunkin donuts or the grocery store. We loved the décor of the hotel! The room was very nice! The front desk staff were all very helpful with giving directions and names of restaurants etc. We loved Copley Square. The hotel was very close to the Marriott where the trolley picked us up every day. Only issue was no microwave or refrig or food nearby

Dissappointing

Posted Jul 16, 2017
Pros: Location
Central location in Boston was nice. However for $300 per night and parking at $50 a day for the small room wasn't worth it at all. The pictures used in their ads were nowhere near the the room I received. Definitely much nicer hotels in downtown Boston for the price

Dear Ken, We are thrilled that you found our location in the heart of the Back Bay perfect for your recent travels, and although we are disheartened that there were other elements that fell below your expectations, we trust that your stay afforded you the opportunity to explore all that awaits just beyond our front doors. As you may have discovered, our rates are on par with comparable hotels in the Boston market during this time of year, however our off-peak months can provide a great deal of savings along with spectacular views of our illustrious city. If you like the sound of bad plumbing + nightclubs

Posted Jul 9, 2017
When I checked in they 'upgraded' me from a queen to a king room... I was here for 5 nights and for the past 3 the music from the night club downstairs kept me up till the middle of the night, including the odd sounds of bad plumbing. When I told the concierge I was here for work and was upset about my room and lack of sleep, he told me normally people can't hear the music on the 3rd floor, but he'd ask the night club to turn down the base (sure, on a Saturday night). My 'upgrade' also had a lovely view of a fire escape, walls a roof to the night club. This place is too expensive to be like this.

Dear gold treatment, Our team loves when we are able surprise our guests and it is a delight to read that we were able to provide you with an upgraded accommodation during your extended stay with us. While we are delighted that you found our Intuition Specialists were more than happy to oblige your request to speak with our colleagues at our lounge in reference to the volume and depth of the music, we regret that this experience along with the others that you have detailed caused you to become disenchanted with your stay. We greatly appreciate your feedback as it helps us to discover what guests loved most about our hotel and also, how we might enhance their experience even further. It is our hope that you will visit with us again as we would love another opportunity to share the exceptional Copley Square experiences that so many of our guests have come to love. Nice hotel but small bathrooms

Posted Jul 9, 2017
Pros: Location and price considering it was Boston.
Cons: Bathroom size, although being an older historic building probably not possible. Maybe put a small cabinet under sink to hold toiletries.
Location: Location was good, close enough to walk to Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market/waterfront and subway system is right around the corner.
The overall hotel is very nice. Older historic building. Rooms were nicely appointed, but the bathroom was incredibly small. Single sink with no cabinet, so no counter space at all except for a 2 inch glass shelf. Hotel location was nice, and within a mile to mile and half walking distance to most attractions. We used Uber for most of the city as well as the subway system which was super easy and convenient. The green line is right around the corner from the hotel which brought us right under TD Garden for the concert we attended. Didn't try the breakfast, so can't comment other than it's pricey. Had drinks one evening in MiniBar, which was nice. We would stay here again.
