Very nice hotel. Exceptional lobby. Fitness area needs some upgrades. Wonderful staff.

Excellent stay, very helpful staff, a lovely room and a super comfortable bed. They are doing some renovation to their external facade so occasionally will see a person on a crane, but did not bother me.

beautifully restored and maintained hotel

Cons: the tv/cable was a bit iffy
Location: walking distance to a number of sites such as trinity church, boston gardens/commons, commonwealth avenue etc
Excellent staff and wonderful atmosphere. Food excellent.

Great location. Very classy hotel!

The staff was wonderful. We were given a free upgrade from a queen bed to a king with a larger room. We also got free wifi because we were first time guests. You can also text things you need/want to the person that checks you in. Great hotel!!

Disappointing stay at Fairmont Copley Plaza

Stayed in the Gold Suite Rooms and the communal areas in very poor condition, ripped curtains, dirty tables, chairs and carpet tread bear in areas. Food in Oak Bar awful. Really disappointing stay.

Lovely location in town

We picked this hotel because of it's central location. We weren't disappointed! Staff couldn't have been more helpful and the building has such character. Great place to stay.

Right in the heart of where we needed to be!

Pros: Everything! Room was wonderful, quiet. Amenities were terrific, staff was amazing.
Cons: Nothing!!
Location: Located near the Boston Commons so you could walk to most places, even the North End, although that would be far.
Truly a wonderful hotel and I highly recommend it to anyone who travels to Boston. We stayed in the Fairmount Gold location and the lounge on the 4th floor is amazing. The hotel is older (1912) and we loved the historic aspect of the hotel. I loved every minute of it. Everyone was amazing at the hotel and could not have been more professional and/or friendly.
