Staff very polite and friendly, brought a water bowl for my dog! Excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the town centre. Unfortunately there was quite a large insect colony in one celling corner.

Good stay!
Decent stay. This was just a quick over night with breakfast. Fit my needs, staff was nice and inviting (reception). Wouldnt mind staying again.

My reservation included breakfast and here they requested the payment for that, I paid about 124 when the room without breakfast show between 74 and 90 dollars

Very nice hotel in a perfect location, on an island in the Main River with a view of the city of Schweinfurt on the other side of the river. Beautiful, quiet, no traffic, and in walking distance of everything Schweinfurt has to offer.

Nice hotel in Schweinfurt. I stayed for business and it was everything I needed. The breakfast was good, the staf was friendly and the hotel was quiet.

Convenient Location
Hotel is located just across the bridge from the city centre so easy walking to downtown. Our room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. Lots of parking. Very good breakfast.

Nice and clean. Good sleep.
Great place. Fans drown out all train, boat, car and people noise. On an island. Walk across the bridge to the center. Would get 10/10 but the advertised sauna wasn’t working and parking is an extra €6

Staff enters the room without knocking, not really the best approach. But they were all friendly and left a good atmosphere. WiFi was disruptive, they had to reboot the system several of times to get it running. Breakfast was quite good, being a small hotel the had a decent selection.

The front desk staff is very courteous, friendly and helpful. The room is clean and comfortable. The bath room sink and the bathtub do not drain well. The Wifi can be more consisten but These are just a minor issues . Overall I had a very pleasant stay at the Mecure Hotel. I would say there again.

It was easy to find. The staff was exceptionally hospitable and welcoming. They provided us with maps of the historic city center, which was just a short walk over the bridge. The riverwalk in front of the hotel was a popular promenade. The breakfast buffer was good. Very enjoyable stay!

Great hotel
We were given a room at the back which was lovely and quiet. It was a large room too. Check in was efficient and quick. We were happy the hotel had air conditioning as it was quite warm. Wifi was strong. Parking was right outside the front and there was plenty of it. The hotel breakfast was varied, fresh and ample. It was only a short walk to the old town and there was a highly rated Italian Restaurant just a 100 metres or so away, however, despite their great reviews we were disappointed with the restaurant.

Great Stay in Schweinfurt
The stay at the Mercure in Schweinfurt was very good. Convenient location - walking distance to town. Great Main River bank location. Reception staff were great as were the restaurant staff (special mention to Mr Haci). Breakfast choice and quality excellent. Room was spacious and very comfortable bed. The only issue were the cleaning staff. We stayed Friday to Monday and the room only seemed to get "half done". Missing towels, tea coffee and bar fridge not replenished etc. Rang down to reception and it was quickly rectified. Happened to often and that is only reason it was not rated an overall 5. Would definitely stay again and would recommend both town and Mercure Hotel Schweinfurt to travellers wanting to stay somewhere different.

We were transitioning from one part of Europe to another and chose this as our rest point. I wish we had spent more time in the lovely town. Check in was a breeze and the staff person on duty was lovely. Our room was comfortable, clean, and large.

Hotel was great but service in the breakfast room was not good while the breakfast was good they ran out of things and were in no hurry to refill anything some of the girls appeared to be going in slow motion. We ate in the restaurant twice and neither meal was great lacking in taste and reheated rather than fresh

Stylish hotel in a great location
Very modern and stylish hotel next to the Main River. Dog friendly area and the front desk even brought our dog water upon arrival (w/o asking). The hotel is close to the center of Schweinfurt, and the breakfast was excellent. When we return, we won't hesitate to stay at the Arcadia again.

Maininsel island surprise.
Lovely hotel in an excellent area. We lived opening the large window facing the river to watch the sunset. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Restaurant breakfast and dinner selections delicious. We will definitely stay again!

We keep coming back
This was our third stay at this hotel. We love the location on the island. It makes for quiet nights. Silke, who reigns over the night desk has become a dear friend. Rooms are comfortable, clean and well-appointed. My only complaint is the wi-fi. Though it mostly worked for me, it was the source of a fair amount of dissatisfaction.

We totally enjoyed our 2 nights at the Mercure Hotel in Schweinfurt. The receptionist was friendly, funny, and helpful. We could leave the car and walk to town. The room was clean and comfortable. And, the Wifi was good!
