An excellent choice for a quick stopover

We booked this hotel so we could sleep 1 night near Chur where we had an early morning train.
The hotel is not actually in Chur. It's in Bad Ragaz - a different stop on the rail line. Also, the hotel about 1/2 a mile from the Bad Ragaz station.
This hotel is NOT 24/7. If you will arrive late (after about 8), call them to let them know. They will leave your key in a lockbox outside the side door. They will give you a code for the lockbox. Just punch in your code, take your key, and let yourself in. VERY EASY!
If you leave early (before 8 AM), use the same code on the lockbox to return the room key. No checkout necessary. We arrived at nearly midnight and left at 6:30 AM, so we never saw anyone at the hotel.
Bad Ragaz is a VERY small town with little or no noise. Everything closes pretty early. In the hotel, if you are not on the top floor, you will hear every step people make above you. Not a problem usually, but bring some earplugs just in case.
My room was small, but very clean. It had it's own bathroom, but no tub or shower. I just did a sink bath. as we were literally there to just sleep. The bed was small for me (I'm 6'3" and 280 lbs). But it was comfortable. The tiny pillow was a small disappointment.
ABOUT THE STAFF
Very helpful by phone as we updated them on our journey and our ETA. Limited English, but enough to understand each other. I wish I'd met them to thank them in person.
