If I stay in the Badlands again, I will gladly stay here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff very friendly, minutes from the park.

Options Are limited in Interior, SD. The hotel has had some remodeling but is a local mom and pop operation. Pleasant staff. Clean rooms, adequate bed. Good stay

Everything all right, except the hours for check-in were not updated in hotels.com so had to checkin and checkout at the same time the following day which delayed my trip some (unable to leave when I wanted to).

2nd floor has slippery when wet steel stairs, ice requires the front desk to get it for you between 8am and 8pm. Breakfast menu was limited and not included in stay.

Repeat return. This time used a 2 rooms accomodation. The bunk beds rooms had a strong draft through timber walls, had to use blanket and pillows for insulation.

Close proximity to the Badlands National Park makes this location great. It is clean but truly basic and a bit tired. The price is less than other lpcal options If you are going to stay, get the larger room for $30 more per night. Its worth the full size shower

Top thing about the motel is the 1 mile proximity to Badlands National park. Other than that, it was clean and neat but even newly refinished rooms look a bit careworn. Definitely pay the 30 a night extra for the larger rooms with full shower and tub. We stayed 2 nights and added a 3rd but had to move to the larger room. Much better. This is definitely an older facility. If you are expecting four star, dobt stay here. If you want convenience to park and a bed for the night, this will do.

Room was small but shipshape. Fortunately, AC was not generally needed because the unit is mounted in the wall and very noisy. Bathroom extremely small but clean and all faucets, toilet, and door worked OK. Screen on the window had some holes and flies got in. This must be a general problem because there was a flyswatter hanging in the room. A minor nuisance, but I mention it because it could be a deal killer for someone else. Bed was comfortable and the grounds were quiet and enjoyable. Perfect location for enjoying the park to the fullest if not for lounging around the motel. If that's your thing, would recommend something more upscale, but I doubt you could find anything much more convenient to the park at the price. I hope to return.

Close to the Badlands NP
Nice enough hotel close to the south entrance of the Badlands NP. Bathroom outdoor use some updates, vanity was very small and so was the shower. Staff was ver helpful.

The property shows age and wear. Pretty clean though and the bed was comfortable. Rather pricey but kinda the only show in town, so close to the NP. No breakfast included with only one option to purchase breakfast starting at 8AM. The food was good if basic and our server was excellent.

Location and staff were wonderful. Pillows and bed were uncomfortable. There was a small hole in the bathroom wall that had toilet paper stuffed in it. The shower was the size of one in a camper. The room had a stale smoke smell.

Check in is at 3 not 2 if you arrive early there's nothing within miles of this place to do while you wait till 3 air conditioner was load exhaust fan was load but it did come with a fly swatter that was helpful the only place within many miles to eat is a local bar that has ok hamburgers

All motels have check-in times. If the rule is broken for you, it must be broken for everyone else. Maybe next time before you start out on a vacation you should check where you are going. Interior has a population of 94, why would you expect anything more than a bar. Oh, but wait, there is another food option, less than 2 miles from the motel. Next time do your homework and do not blame the motel.

Right outside of Badlands NP, and right up the road from the visitor center and Sage Creek Lodge/Restaurant/Gift Shop. A convenient location near all of the main things you'll want to do in the northern section of the park. We stayed in the Motel part, not the campground. The service was great, the rooms were clean and nice. They have breakfast (not free) in the mornings but we didn't try it so I can't comment on that. They also have a little store section where you can buy some snacks or essentials that you may have forgotten. We got a small bag of ice there for our cooler. Overall, it was pretty quiet, lots of space to park, and all the rooms are a quick walk from the office building where everything they offer is located. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a place right near Badlands.

Convenient location to Badlands National Park and the Ampitheater. Staff was very nice. The location is beautiful - the Badlands are right outside the motel room door. Would stay there again.

After our third night of staying in motels/hotels; this place was the best, by far! Able to walk right in, even though it was very late, to find a very simple, clean, cozy and comfortable room! The atmosphere and surroundings were so peaceful, we sat outside the door for an hour or so and enjoyed the night! Definitely on our list to return!!
