Clean, easy access

Posted Jul 26, 2016
The hotel was clean and close to the highway which made it an easy drive to The Badlands. The breakfast wasn't great. Cereal, toast, and some yogurt. Better than nothing I guess, but we wound up stopping for breakfast elsewhere.

Pros: The air-conditioning worked.
Cons: Everything
Location: Close to the Badlands
Would never stay here again! Stains on the carpet, smelled musty, needs major update!

It is a clean hotel and close to Badland national park. The staff was ok. Breakfast wasn't good.

Wall Meh

Posted Dec 1, 2015 on Hotels
For the price and location (there are slim pickings on the Great Plains of South Dakota for hotel choices), the hotel was acceptable. The room was clean, though the bathroom smelled like something had died in it when we first walked in. About half the decor was tired and worn - especially the bed spread. The bed wasn't the most comfortable. And oddly, the reception closed up at midnight - which could be a problem if you were arriving late.

The clerk never heard of hotels.com. But the room was clean, the shower was AMAZING!

We stayed here because it was convenient to get to Badlands and also close to Wall Drug! The King Bed room was small, but was clean. Their breakfast had the essential stuff. My only con would be the side doors are only locked from 10:30pm to 6:30am. It would be nice to have a card slot instead of keeping them unlock all day.
