Nice and peaceful hotel
This is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel and I will keep coming back when I travel to Bago. The surrounds are nice and peaceful, it has a new pool and a good selection of food for breakfast. The room is clean and neat and the shower pressure is strong and hot. You can use their bicycles for free which is handy because the hotel is too far to walk to the town centre. It’s also a little far from the main road - about a 15-20 minute walk - so if you’re coming by bus you’ll need to jump on a motorbike or tuktuk or else walk with your luggage. The hotel has a tuktuk so I think you can arrange a pickup/drop off with them, just ask. The rooftop bar and restaurant is good too.

Positives: helpful staff, clean, new restaurant with rooftop bar, small pool. You can get a decent coffee. Issue: quite far out of town, but then you have to travel a lot around Bago to see all of the sites anyway.

Higher end place in area with good amenities. Free bike rental was great to see the pagodas and be active. Restaurant onsite serves good dinner and lunch options. Breakfast is a buffet but did lack the fresh feel. Good options for fruit and noodles/rice. Friendly staff and nice new pool. Some building next door but sound didn't affect stay.

We arrived at Kanbawza Hinthar Hotel, a very quiet afternoon, on 18 June 2019. The hotel, with rooms behind the reception building, structure is unique. My friend and I were delighted as we served with the Welcome Drinks to 'drench' our thirsty throats... it was wonderful. We were received by the hotel friendly and helpful staffs. They speak good English. With no unnecessary delay, we were led to our hotel rooms, Room 204 and Room 205, by young strong men. We had a comfortable rest after our long journey from Yangon. The hotel rooms were clean and spacious and toilets were clean too. The swimming pool surrounding and swimming pool water were clean. We swam every morning. The restaurant, in another building, was cosy and the food was delicious. I was astonish as there were waffles for my breakfast. The hotel staffs are always and ready to give us their professional assistance to fulfil all our needs and queries. Thus, we were happy; and we had an enjoyable and relaxing stay in Kanbawza Hinthar Hotel. We would record the hotel staffs, Kay Kay, Khant Win Htay, Nyein Chan and Thinzar Oo, efforts in making our stay fantastically awesome! I wish the hotel management will recognise their distribution; and I encourage others to stay in Kanbawza Hinthar Hotel too as it is not only a hotel but a home. Thank you.

Not too many options in Bago, this is overpriced in my opinion but pretty nice. The breakfast was great. Staff was very helpful and kind. Better to save money and stay elsewhere though.

A diamond in the rough!
Even though Bago is not far from Yangon it’s still got a lot of catching up to do in terms of comfortable accomodation. So this hotel was a nice surprise. It’s just right for the price! The breakfast variety gets a bit boring if you’re there for a long stay and the shower heads are a bit close to the wall and ineffective but overall the rooms are a nice place to retreat to and wash off the dust of Bago. Our room was very spacious. The hotel location isn’t amazing but it is a fairly quiet area...except on Sunday morning- there was some irritating music playing very early in the morning. You hire bikes or take tuk tuk’s to get around. All this hotel really needs is a pool!! I’d definitely stay again. Thanks to all of the friendly staff.

I would stay here again
We loved our stay at this hotel, they provided great service by attending to all our travel needs, which was very helpful, especially given that there is truly nothing else in the local area that one could ask otherwise.... Also the restaurant being really really good made life a lot easier, for the same reason... The area is at least quiet and we had very good sleep here, which certainly couldn't be said of downtown Bago. Wonderful city though, in my opinion a must for anyone visiting Myanmar.

New hotel, excellent staff.
new hotel, very helpful staff. A little off the beaten path, but that was fine for us. Had a fantastic day with the hotels tuk-tuk taking us around the sites. Much better than doing it by bike, as some are very tricky to find, and are a distance away. Would definitely recommend this place.

Great hotel but food a disappointment
Great hotel. Situated just outside this interesting town. Accommodation is in spacious bungalow style accommodation. Clean and spacious. The staff simply cannot do enough to help. There are bicycles and fantastic e-bikes for rent and plenty to see in the town for a couple of days if you are adventurous. The only slight let down was the food, especially the buffet breakfast which was not replenished enough or well enough organised in terms of tables being cleared. Shame as the hotel is otherwise fantastic.

静かな場所です。 晩御飯はホテル以外でする時は少し離れます。 コテージに宿泊しましたが、水着などの濡れ物の干す場所が室内しかなかったです。 プール使ってもプール用にタオルがなく、自分の部屋のタオルを使うことになります。水は綺麗でした。 ホテルにマウンテンバイクが3台あり無料で借りられます。

町から離れていますが、トュクトュクタクシーで行けば問題ありません。周囲は寂しい感じで、民家や地元の人向けのお店が数点あります。が、夜道は暗くあまり出歩く感じではありません。ホテルのディナーは安く良心的ですし、味も美味しいです。そして、パゴタの夜景を見ながらの贅沢な時を過ごせます。料理は4000k前後くらいです。ビールも部屋のミニバーより安いか同じ（2500k）くらい。客室も少ないためホテル自体にゆったりとしたリゾート時間が流れ、フロントも親切にゴールデンロックへの手配や、ヤンゴン等へのバスや列車について教えてくれたり、手配してくれたりしました。Eバイクのレンタルもありますが、夕方に借りたいと頼んだら、お姉さんが真剣に「バゴーは道もガタガタだし、車やバイクも多いからオススメできない。可能ならバイクタクシーかトュクトュクを利用して目的地に行ってはどうですか。」とのこと。なるほど、お姉さんのご助言の通りでした。この町で運転はかなり難しそうです。そんな感じでスタッフも親切です。

โรงแรมดีได้มาตรฐาน พนักงานบริการเยี่ยม ห้องพักสะอาด อาหารเช้าดีมาก เป็นพื้นที่คล้ายๆกึ่งรีสอร์ท จะเสียอย่างเดียวคือ น้ำเป็นน้ำบาดาล จะออกคุณๆหน่อยเวลาอาบน้ำแล้วเหนียวตัว ส่วนอย่างอื่นนั้นถือว่าใช้ได้เลย

Hotel liegt zwar ein wenig abseits, dafür aber sehr ruhige Lage. Nettes Restaurant zum Essen und Biertrinken, war nicht weit weg und zu Fuß zu erreichen. Supernettes Personal , kostenloser Shuttle mit TUK TUK zum Bus. Wir würden wieder kommen.

バゴーに行く時良く利用しています
市街地までは車で１０分。周りにお店も少ないですが部屋や朝食はヤンゴン市内同等でバゴーで一番良いホテルだと思います。市内バゴダ近くのホテルは何度か利用しましたが値段の割に汚い・お湯が出ない等日本人にはチョッと厳しいです。このホテルには大きいバスタブが有りますが外付けの給湯タンクが小さいのでお湯が一杯になる前に終わってしまい、残りは水になってしまいます。水はフィルターを通していますが少し茶色いです。スタッフは若く親切です。市街地までは３輪バイク（トゥクトゥク）で送ってもらっています。

Dejligt ophold
Vi boede 4 nætter på dette dejlige hotel. Hotellet ligger placeret i et stille område, så man får en god nattesøvn i dejlige senge. Hotellet ligger dog også i et område uden de store seværdigheder. Udover hotellets egen restaurant er der kun to restuaranter i nærheden (fra hotellet skal man først gå til højre og første gang igen til højre. På toppen af en bakke ligge en god restaurant som serverer Tuborg øl, den næste restaurant ligger længere nede af den vej). Hotellets restaurant serverer også fin mad. Vi valgte at leje hotellets cykler for at komme rundt. Tjek bremserne inden man begiver sig afsted. Hvis man lader floden dele sin udforskning af byen kan man se nærmest alle templer mm ved to cykelture af 17-20 km. Det er kun vejen mod syd til de 4 figur pagoda at cyklerne ikke er helt egnede. Så man må gå lidt op ad nogle korte bakker. Wifi virker efter Myanmar-standard. Altså bedst midt om natten når alee andre sover. Vil vi anbefale dette hotel: Helt sikkert.

長距離バスターミナルから近いホテルを探したつもりだったが、少し奥まった所にありタクシーで行かなければわからなかった。 静かで、Wi-Fiもつながるし、設備もよいホテルでした。 次の日にキンプンへ行きたいと話したら、バスの手配と、バスターミナルまで送ってくれました。

Ottimo hotel sotto ogni aspetto.
Ottimo hotel sia per pulizia sia per confort. Area per il breakfast e ristorante (dove abbiamo anche cenato) veramente ad alto livello, potrei dire anche raffinato con personale professionale. La cena é stata di qualità ad un prezzo contenuto ca. 5 euro a persona. Tra tutti gli hotels del Myanmar che abbiamo frequentato in 3 settimane questo è stato sicuramente di gran lunga il migliore. La camera x 3 era veramente spaziosa. Sicuramente ci ritornerei.

A quiet place
Preface: On my arrival at the hotel after a long bus journey the manager at the reception told me in a very rude way that I didn’t have a booking as the hotel didn’t have any business connection with ebookers. He even refused any assistance or help to clear the situation: “Your problem!” After my expensive telephone call to ebookers / Germany, he suddenly found my booking which I had already paid for in September 2016!! Later I complained about his rude behaviour with the director of the hotel. She felt very sorry for that incident, apologized for his behaviour and sent a fruit basket. The manager apologized later, too, on the phone. Important: All other staff were very friendly, attentive and very helpful. Location outside of town but in a quiet surrounding; you have to take a tuktuk or taxi to go downtown; but doesn’t matter as you have to take taxi or tuktuk for sightseeing - good size of the room which was well decorated, simply furnished and very clean - bathroom was clean too - very slow, bad internet - air condition takes a long time to work properly - nice buffet breakfast Asian style with tasty Indian corner and some Continental breakfast items.

Good hotel close to monastery
A bit outside town, so you expect it to be more quiet. But not. We hade 48 hours non-stop chanting through the loudspeakers of the nearby monastery. The manager apologised and said it is not always like that. We don't know. On top of that, they are enlarging the hotel with building noices daytime. The rooms are new, bungalow style and practical with rain shower. Safety box, that they forgot to screw to the furniture. You could take it under your arm and run ☺. Breakfast ok. Choice of Western or Asian.The restaurant had good food but spicy. When they understood how we like it, it was very good. Staff nice and helpful. But overall, Bago was not really worth en extra stop. Took a 2 hour train ride to Yangon downtown. A bit shaky, but very comfortable seats and an interesting trip. VIP treatment from the railway staff☺. The hotel gave us a complimentary ride to the station un their tuk-tuk.

Ruhige Alternative zu all den Lauten an d Hauptstr
Das hotel liegt ruhig und ist in 2014 neu gebaut worden. Das Hotelteam bemüht sich sehr, um den Aufenthalt schön zu gestalten. hotelrestaurant schmeckt sehr gut. Es gibt Fahrräder und ebikes stundenweise für kleines Geld zu mieten. Eine super Entscheidung, hier her zu kommen statt an der Hauptstr. Zu schlafen.
