The hotel is crisp and clean. The furnishings are well appointed. The apartment/room is very nice and the kitchenette is a great convenience. The space is utilized well with a nice queen sized bed, kitchen area, and small living room. Closet space was tight, but manageable. Bathroom was clean and well furnished, though a bit small. Staff was really nice and arranged to have my luggage brought to the room when the room was available. Location is several blocks from the main train-station and not too difficult to get to (even with luggage)
Overall, a very nice stay. Quality level is similar to Aloft, but, with older bathroom fixtures (e.g. tub instead of a flat floor shower).

I always find the staff here very friendly and helpful. The lobby has a cafe with good food and a very trendy feel. They have a music room downstairs which is seri with several guitars which are free to use if the room is available. My only criticism may be that design in the rooms gets in the way of practicality but they have been responsive to change over the years.

We booked at the last minute without being aware of the 25th anniversary of the German re-unification celebration which centered on and along the river right outside the hotel. Our 18th floor room gave us a birds-eye view of the entire production. It was fantastic to say the least!! The young man at the registration desk was excellent in his efforts to make us aware of all the activities which were about to begin. Our room lived up to our expectation of an Inter-Continental Hotel property. Everything was top notch from the staff going above and beyond to help us maximize our time to the amenities in our room. The drinks in the mini-bar were priced the same as in the bar, which we felt were reasonable for a high end property. The bar in the lobby was comfortable and staffed with professional, friendly, multi-lingual bartenders. Although we didi not have time to sample the Sunday buffet, it was extensive and looked delicious for around $30. The location along the river is within easy walking distance to the old town, the apple wine area and the downtown shopping areas.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and it is just perfect for my needs. I don't spend a lot of time in my hotel room so i don't need a lot of amenities. And as I often travel within this area and to the Nuremberg area the convenience of the train station is a major bonus.
In the rooms the double beds are nice and roomy, larger than a typical European hotel double bed. The beds are comfortable and nice large pillows make for a good sleep. I always insist on an upper floor room to keep the downtown sounds to a minimum and the top floor rooms feature outside doors and balconies. Nice to be able to open doors (or windows on lower floors). As an American the other need is a fan (which was supplied) to circulate air, this appears to be unnecessary for Europeans which I will never understand.
Not really a family hotel. The red light district is right around the corner. But good for singles and groups who need a central location and easy access to transportation.

The hotel was a pleasant stay. The staff were very polite and helpful. The room was small, but comfortable and we didn't really spend much time there anyway. Breakfast was a small style buffet breakfast which we found suited us as some of the eateries in the vicinity didn't really offer much in the way of breakfast. Wifi was reliable and the hotel is close to the main train station and about a 10-15 minute walk to the cbd and shopping area.
The area is pretty safe despite being close to the 'red light district' just obviously use caution like you would in any other city as some streets were a little dodgy. We (2 females) didn't really have any dramas in the way of safety.
