The smill of the lobby and the coradors are really bad. Limited plugs and not Gulf standards Unavailability of towels and when provided it was dirty damaged as if it s used Entering room without permission Remote control for TV was not available Praying rug was not available Slippers were not available Floors were sticky Some windows cannot be closed The only good things I can say are the room was big and the bill boys were fantastic

Mercure Hotel is a very good hotel, clean,room is big ,friendly stuff specially the concierge .the location of the hotel is very convenient because it's in the middle of the two big mall of Bahrain ( seef mall and city center). There's only one negative thing they don't have shampoo and conditioner even they mention it in the room amenities but they have body lotion. I had to go and buy shampoo and conditioner. Definitely im coming back i really enjoyed my stayed there.

Hotel is not so bad, not cheap though. But the staff isn’t keeping up. Room service never answered. Reception isn’t always available. Parking is very very bad (small, and hard to reach the entrance).

Perfect Location walking distance to seff and AlAli malls and 5 min drive to city center mall 15 min to MODA mall and the Avenues Friendly staff Water gas smell is now better than before Sofabed is not comfortable Some maintenance is needed There is a kitchen but not equipped.

DREADFUL AND IRRESPONSIBLE
Dreadful bar and entertainment unless you are a 'local'. Do not visit as a single female. No free fruit platters can apologise for the poor behaviour i observed. Hotel should be ashamed for tolerating such irresponsible actions.

I like the hotel as it is close to 3 malls as well as restaurants. It is good for families however they have limited & tight parking lot.

The property looks nice from outside and inside on the ground floor. Its close to major shopping malls in Manama. The staff is polite and helpful. However, it is disappointing when you stay in it for a few days: First, cleanliness is a problem, a patch on the lounge desk pad and the lounge pillow as well as dirty floor, they need a cleaning supervisor who goes over the cleaning process and makes sure everything is up to the Mercure standards as I stayed in Mercure hotels in other countries, its very different. Second, I had a leaky water boiling pot (luckily I wasn't electrocuted), the staff managed to change it. Third, the fridge was freezing all the time which ruined the food I bought despite multiple attempts of the staff to fix it. My advice to the managers of this property is look around and find out how hotels at the same level are being managed and cleaned in neighbouring countries (or even the same country).

I stayed in this hotel 8 years ago and it has gone downhill considerably. Check in took over a half hour.- and then it took another 30 minutes for them to bring our bags (they brought the wrong ones) We asked for 2 big bottles of water, they brought small ones.. the floors in the rooms are sticky and there is an overbearing odor of cheap air freshener covering up a stale smell.

I booked this hotel for location. It is an older hotel yet remains in very good condition. Large comfortable suite rooms. Great quality of hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Excellent choice of breakfast. Also a great transfer service available (at a fair price) from airport to hotel. Very good overall value.

I would have rated it higher but the non-smoking room I stayed in smelled like smoke. The people staying on my same floor level were most definitely smoking but nothing was done about it. Otherwise the room was spacious and breakfast was lovely.

A good all round stay
Overall an excellent location and good hotel with friendly staff. We had numerous issues with our room but these were sorted eventually. The hotel is showing signs of age but is maintained and functional. If you after a good location and an above average hotel this could be ideal.

best service ever
I have never been to a hotel no matter how many stars that has had better service than this one. The hotel itself is more than I expected, but the service and kindness made my experience feel like my own family owned the restaurant. I will definitely recommend this to anyone and be going back many times.

Lovely hotel near huge shopping mall
