Stay Away From Hotel

Arrived at hotel at 2:54 am. When presented my phone to the person in charge through the night window, the person said there was no reservation. Told me I had to call customer service, which took no more than 10 minutes total. Customer service called hotel and got everything straightened out, again it took no more than 10 minutes to call, for customer service to call location and get everything sorted out. It took the person another 30 minutes to get us checked in. Then, instead of a double bed room, we got a single bed. Took an additional 20 minutes to exchange room. Almost an hour just to check in. TV remote did not work, shower handle is way too stiff to pull and turn water on (I'm a plumber so I know) and bathroom lock does not work properly. Overal, the room is not well kept as it had water stains on the ceiling, is poorly painted, air gets in from under the door and it's just plain ugly. We understand is a $60.00 dollar room, but for Bakersfield and the condition of the room, we got robbed.

This place and their customer service was horrible. Nothing of what is written in their info is accurate. No 24 hour service as it said in their info! I got here late, had to be ringing bell outside forever at 4 in the morning very tired after a long drive, just so that a sleepy angry man would come out with an ugly attitude, throw me a pen and a paper to sign. After this (an hour later) i got the key card to my room and it didn't work had to go back to the office and get another one, once i finally got into my room i did not get what i had reserved! I reserved for a non smoke two bed room. It was dirty, cigarette smelly and only one bed! Went back to office for the Third time very angry only to find a NO REFUND SIGN! he was mad i was mad all i needed was my money back to look for a better hotel. Unfortunately i had to stay, slept very uncomfortable in this dirty smelly room and left first thing morning. DONT STAY HERE!

It was so bad we did not stay

The room was very dirty, carpets awful full of holes mattress urine stains. , doors all dirty tv microwave fridge all very out dated. The smell of smoke was awful , the bed sheet didn't even fit on the bed. I can keep going i did take photos. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Room was adequate for our needs

Room was adequate for our needs. Just needed a place to lay our head for the evening. Didn't spend any time in the hotel during the day due to the business nature of our trip. Staff was friendly and responsive. Wish they had a breakfast included. In our room, the bathroom door would not open all the way because it ran up against the toilet seat. But things like that don't really bother me for just a two night stay.

Dirty carpets and squeaky sounds from walls

The carpets were dirty for sure. I was afraid of bed bugs the moment I entered. Door lock was jammed with alarm clock not working. I went to the bathroom, the door wouldn't open completely because of the poor design - getting blocked by the toilet. So annoying. After I hit the bed, there were endless squeaky sounds coming from the wall possibly a rodent. I do not recommend this motel.
