Losing everything

After my house burned down and then my mother dying on Christmas I chose to make a move for southern California on my trip down after stopping for my brakes losing a caliper bolt and my engine continually overheating I stopped for the night in Bakersfield, where I went to a FEMA approved hotel where I was informed that I wokuld need to sleep in my car until 7am when the office "reopened" so that they could help me, I finally found a friend with a credit card that could get me a room there for the evening, after picki ng up a long tiumw friend and hhaving them over i returned to my car to have my belongings strewn across the parking lot. Someone broke into my car stole a suitcase filled with items of sentimental value my passport and wallet and the last of my FEMA money that I kept in the car for sFe keeping. So now being out a house, a mother, and roughly $3,000 cash and my most precious possessions I was told that because it was their parking lot they would not be covering it what so ever. Sadly I can't even care enough anymore for it to hurt.

An Expedia Failure

Pros: The clerk was very sympathetic about my situation and did her best to accommodate me.
Cons: Be sure to actually make reservations for your customers.
Location: There is an amusement park and businesses nearby. The location is very good
I went to the Extended Stay Motel on Saturday, Dec 23, and there was no record of my reservation which I had made through Expedia.

Close to freeway and amenities

The bed was not comfortable at all. Location was on point. TV remote was not in room either.

It was good just a big deposit. But close by to the mall and food places and minature golf

Nice inside but outside was disappointing

Good times in bakersfield

Hotel is centrally located, just off the freeway.

Nothing extra ordinary about the hotel. It is right next to the freeway and main train yard which can get a bit noisy.

Lots of stray cats in the parking lot. Fire alarm went off for about an hour. Nice and friendly staff.
